Haha. Can wait for him to wipe the egg off his face. His best friend just left him at the altar. Better have a backup plan Happy Jack.

Jack didn’t extend his “best friend’s” contract…  So, who had egg on their face?  Jack was moving on.

If you are a Notre Dame fan then why the gloating that Kelly left? I am rooting for Jack to get this right. We all should be rooting for him.

Supposedly things happened super fast.

BK and Riley have the same agent. As soon as the Riley thing happened, things went fast with BK. And stuff got out immediately.

there's the idea that Jack and Kelly were close as Jack fired Weis, Hired Kelly and has not had to make a change in 11-12 years so I think Colts is still rooting for Jack. I think the idea that kelly and swarbrick were best friends IS overplayed

If I'm listening to the press conference right it feels like a professional relationship linked by success you are exactly right

I think Jack’s answer about the direction of college football as it relates to large recent contracts is telling.

I interpreted it as he’s not happy and he realizes ND now either has to be all in or go back to mediocrity. They hate having to make money do their talking but it’s where it’s at.

ND is going to have to pay too dollar for coaches and assistants or they’ll be left in the dust.

Because I was tired of Kelly’s crap. I’m looking for new blood that will actually enjoy ND and what it has to offer. I thought Swarbrick should of canned Kelly a loong time ago. So the gloat is, Jack stuck with Kelly(who I dislike) only to be crapped on. Also, I thought he did extend him not too long ago. A three year contract or something like that. Thank

Exactly right Faith. They always seemed real chummy on tv and press conferences and such. I am rooting for Jack. But I lost confidence in certain issues.

You mean, like Lou, who's thank you for loving ND and all it had to offer was an early retirement? Everybody caught up in this is fickle. ..including, and especially, us.

10-4. I understand where you are coming from. Shows how disloyal Kelly was in this process. Kelly never said a word to him and pulled the rug out. Sad after all the years here that he didn't have the decency to talk to him.
