November 21, 20213 yr Author I thought he had good lateral movement .. quick twitch past the line .. himself and Diggs.. gonna be a great combo for a few years imo
November 21, 20213 yr He was faster than I expected him to be too. Not sure I see a point in redshirting many players anymore. Those that are the level of guys we want aren’t staying 5 years anyway.

Build jumps out at you. Was the teams second leading rusher yesterday. Had 61 yards that quick 2nd only to Buchner's 68 Here's the stat PDF from und.com. https://und.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/NDFB-Season-Stats-12.pdf Looking for that games played answer for you @Irish-scoop! Great post

November 21, 20213 yr I think Estime is definitely more in the power back category, he does have some speed, but it does not equal the other 3 RBs on the roster. It is good to have a change of pace type back though instead of 3 copies. Instead of trying to jump that defender or juking the others, he should have just trucked them. Definitely a power back, which is nice to have. Edited November 22, 20213 yr by NDhoosier
November 21, 20213 yr Loved this kid in HS in New Jersey where he was Gatorade Player of the Year,. So glad when ND flipped him from Sparty late. He is a stud and will draw comparisons to Jerome Bettis!!
November 22, 20213 yr Estime's build reminds me of Javonte Williams the rookie RB for Denver from UNC. Bright future ahead for the ND backfield!
November 22, 20213 yr He has played a ton of special teams and was an H-Back in the short-yardage offense, I believe. But, only had his first carry on Saturday. Obviously, he needs more. RBs are looking great this year, post bye week. Not sure what's up with Tyree though - I wonder if his turf toe is worse than reported. He just does not have the same burst or wiggle as he had last year, and the other RBs are looking dynamic.

Do you know the snap percentages each is getting? At this point, I doubt Williams needs as much practice as some of the other guys. Plus, he’s your workhouse and you need him fresh. I would hope the backups are now starting to see an increase in practice reps.

I have all the info needed to find that out right here. https://und.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/NDFB-Season-Stats-12.pdf page 4 and 13 total rushing attempts: 396 Kyren has 185/396= 46.7% 922 yards Coan has 50/396 12.7 % -81 yards Tyree has 45/396 11.3% 160 yards Buchner 43/396 10.85 Percent 280 yards Diggs 39/396 9.8 percent 203 yards Estime 6/396 1.5 percent 61 yards I read your request wrong @coltssb but am going keep those in-game percentages there
