  1. Great senior day for the seniors
  2. Thank you HC, DC, and OC for a convincing boat race
  3. No TDs allowed in the last 3 games. D is improving.
  4. QB - Coan was great 75%, 280+, 2TDs, no INTs
  5. RB - not a huge day, didn't need it. Kyren only 11 carries. Kept him healthy and fresh. I like it. Estime looked good. Lots of different rushing touches.
  6. WR/TE - 11 different guys caught passes. Kyren the most, but great game by Austin and Mayer. Diggs with a receiving TD too.
  7. Can't say enough about the D today.
  8. Another team ahead of us (MichSt) goes down, with Oregon still to go in a bit with a chance of one more.
  9. GO IRISH

This has to be Kelly & Co’s best coaching job since arriving here.

ND looked so weak at the start of the season and now looks very fitting of its ranking.

The O-line was a total mess.  Weren’t even sure who the QB was. No running game because of the O-line.  Lots of WRs lost.  Hamilton out.

For a lot of other teams, this season would have been a disaster.

1. Dominant performance

2. Jon Bon Jovi looks great in our stadium

JBJ needs to do some half time shows for us lol.... Give me Runaway or She Don't Know Me.

Not a big fan of him now, but love his very early stuff (1st 2 albums). Saw BJ open up for both the Scorpions (Love at First Sting Tour) in 84 , and Ratt in 85 ( I think 85). Was too young to be going to those concerts lol.. Then they went soft and commercialized.

1- Defence has been outstanding these last 3 games. Was some of this due to competition and backup qbs? Sure. However, it has been impressive by any measure and they are getting familiar with Freeman’s scheme.

2- This team was flying around today. Jack Kiser, Henderson, Myron, Austin, Foskey… speaking of Foskey is there a better player that gets talked about less?

3- Something is amiss with Buchner. Pocket presence, throwing the football, footwork… the running part looks natural but the QB part does not. I have serious concerns the staff can develop him to be the full time guy.

4- This team has improved every week. If you compare this team to week 1 it has no resemblance. Props to BK and staff, hope the committee feels the same.

5- Props to Rees on getting the playmakers involved. Love how we are finally stressing defences sideline to sideline with motion and sweeps. There was lots to be desired to start the season, love the progress.

Agree with you on every point you made.

On the bolded. I agree. But at least they are getting him active and getting him experience, unlike they did with PJ.

Hoping he spends all off season working on his pass game. Not sure I can stomach a year of tag team QBs with Tyler/Pyne/Agneli lol...

Was hoping we'd flip Howard, but those chances are looking less and less. I think they are still on Brown too. Wouldn't write off Howard though until a new coach is named at LSU.

LSU's reported list is this 1. Jimbo Fischer, 2. Bill O Brien, and 3. Mark Stoops. A little surprised Aranda isn't on that list. But if it ends up being Stoops or Aranda, I could see Howard flipping, as both of those guys are D types. Not sure why Jimbo would leave TAMU, but maybe he could think LSU would be a better spot than sharing the state of TX now when UT gets to the SEC. IMO, Silly to jump teams in the SECW... Tucker seems to be out, or perhaps never as high on the list as reported earlier.

Who knows who USC will get, but most chatter says Fickell is the front runner with talk of Aranda here and there. Both are D guys, so could impact Brown depending on OC choice.

1. Great to see all phases of the team play well in a much needed blowout.

2. I hope we bring in a transfer QB. I do not think we have a NC caliber QB on the roster and our brand has never been better. We should be able to be one of the top schools to get the pick of the litter. Buchner reminds me of a Boise State QB when Boise was great  That’s not enough to win a NC.

3. I think we’d beat Cincy in a rematch. Cudos to Rees to realizing Coan works better uptempo. Our defense looks much more aggressive within the system than earlier in the year.

4. I will be surprised if Lugg starts at RT next year. His foot speed is too slow. The biggest question mark will be center if Patterson leaves  I’ve never been sold on Correll who is small  We’ve got a lot of impressive young talent

5. Estime looked great. We’re loaded at RB next year. With an elite QB, next year will be exciting.

Great game all around.

Surprised how well the defense played with the substitutions in the 2nd half.

I agree with the comments on this is probably Kelly's best year.

Estime and Diggs.  Wow the future is bright!

Some of you have jumped off the Buchner train pretty quickly. It wasnt his best game, but I am not too worried about a freshmen with his lack of experience.

For the first time yesterday ND called the game in the flow of the offense with Buchner. Only that first play had been a part of the package that Buhners set of plays.

It showed. He fumbled a direct snap and did some other youthful things. Missed a read etc.

But I look for Buchner to be the actual back-up QB by the bowl game, meaning running any play in the offense. He won't be great at it yet. But Pyne again knows the offense ALOT better and Coan picked the whole thing up fast being a veteran.

I think next year may be Fisher and Alt at the tackle spots. Lugg was not good.

Buchner reminds me way too much of Hendrix and that is not a good thing. Buchner needs many designed runs to be effective and I worry he can stay healthy. Plus can he be a pocket passer when OSU forces him to be one? And let me reiterate, he reminds me of Hendrix in regards to mechanics. Buchner is a better athlete with a better arm.

Defense is getting better understatement of the week

Drew Brees is becoming less of an anti hater even though I can see it pains him.. I guess he’s learning how to hero his job longer than Mayock and Flutie

this team has good depth at skill positions

Kyren Williams…

Hope the coaches can figure out a way to make Buchner a 70% completion passer next season or there is going to be a lot of wasted talent.
