Curious if ND in the running for him? 4-star TE / Athlete from the Twin Cities No - it doesn't sounds like it. He will likely end up staying home and committing to Minnesota. I really like him and Duce Robinson (AZ), but I think ND is going to strike out on both though. Cooper Flanagan is a solid player. But I would guess they would target two TEs again this cycle.
December 9, 20213 yr Wasn't Vernon like a borderline 5* and much higher ranked nationally? I don't know if he was in the top 10, but maybe like top 25. Was that for a different recruiting service or was I dreaming that?

I firmly believe that some rankings are based on what can give them the most clicks in the next few months. Maybe I am just a conspiracy theorist though, what do I know of companies omitting/changing/hiding facts to fit their agenda?
