It was good to see some pictures of former players coming back to support the team. I saw pictures of Chase Claypool with various recruits. There was one of Tommy Rees with Zac Martin and Tyler Eifert. A few of Jerome Bettis. I would like to see it happen more often. Can't hurt having current NFL players and hall of fame dudes roaming the sidelines. 

I feel like ND is really starting to figure it out on that front(recruiting marketing etc) within the last few years or more.

For far too long too many people were scared to upset tradition.

The only tradition that matters is winning and doing things that engage recruits, young kids etc is going to give you the best chance of success, so do that. I don't care if they wear white helmets and blue pants. Just win the games. 

I imagine that it is tough for current players to make games unless they are in their bye week
