Not a highly insightful take, but we are mediocre on the back end if he is out. London put up 171 on us. Ouch. Also several runs that he would have stuffed. Game breaker gone is a horrible thought.

Without Hamilton, we lose a big cog in our defense, but Drake London is a very good player.  Even with Hamilton, he was going to have his moments.

Supposedly pitched his fat pad (haha)  Should be good for Sat.

The elephant in the room. When does he start thinking about his future. He is a top 10 pick right.

I can only assume he means his pad around his knee. In xrays, if you care, and doubt they are talking about this since it was his ankle or knee, you have fat pads that are seen on xrays in the elbow.

Can’t translate but I googled fat pad to save the other readers from doing it….lol

The infrapatellar fat pad (commonly known as Hoffa's fat pad) is located at the anterior (front) of the knee joint. It is a large structure positioned just behind the patellar tendon and the knee cap. It is essentially the soft bit you can push at the front of the knee under your knee cap.

I can see him being out for Navy as well. He should not be needed against them and too much risk of another injury based on how they like to play. Hopefully he will be 100% for Virginia.

Agreed. D-line needs to step up and put constant pressure on NC QB cause he can burn any defense with his arm.

He’s out for Saturday. I think he’ll be back before the season ends, but that’s a big loss vs UNC

The internets say it's an 8-12 week recovery time (on the conservative side), but I think BK said in his presser they expect him back before the year is over.

We'll just have to wait and see lots of stuff out there right now. Definitely Out for UNC. Kelly Meets with the media again thursday

I had to look this up. Man, this has to be really rare.

I am almost glad he is out this week. I hate playing Navy. The WWII indebtedness has been paid in full with abundant interest.

The endless cut blocks inevitably result in multiple ND players hobbling off the field at various points. It usually looks worse than it is, but I still hate it.  I would love to get them off of the schedule.
