If not much changes with the OL, they are going to run it down our throats! I haven't said this in 5 years. We are going to lose this game. I still have a glimmer of hope. But when we stop the run they will go over the top and that's also a weakness. Enjoy the day and not the game. Remember, it's only a "GAME", entertainment to us. Yes, we love our Notre Dame football but there are times we must love the actual school and culture. It's truly different here. Enjoy the game! Win or lose, remember, it just a game. Your life will not change. Be happy with friends and family that makes days like these special!

OK, SO I STILL HAVE HOPE LOL

They could Stanford us or that Harbaugh game at Michigan. Chyst also beat us in a weird game at Pittsburgh in 2013. The defense literally stopped playing after they caused a sack fumble that was 28-21 Pitt at Pitt.

 

They had James Connor who we helped get drafted by the Steelers that day. When they played PSU, I didn't see that 1st round NFL running back though.

 

• If ND tackles like they did vs FSU, gonna be a long day
• If they tackle like they did at Purdue, its gonna be a close game.
• If ND wins the turnover battle, I still think they win the game.

Excellent Faith. That’s all I kept thinking about was that Michigan game and how they steamrolled them. Glad we are on the same page. 
ND just has to come out and know they have the more talent. At least by recruiting sites. Trust that they are more athletic and make plays. Be nasty up front on both ends because Wisky will and ND “should” win this game. 
IF the line can sustain some blocks we can throw it over the top. I also think Tommy will come up with some designed plays that won’t allow Coan to just sit there all game. 
Screens and draws may be needed. However, The most important factor to me in the game is Mayer. If he’s ready, he’s going to have a monster game. They blitz a lot of linebackers from all over.  He’s going to have mismatches and space all game. He needs a Bavaro type game. But he’s got to want it Jeremy Stockey style. Get him the ball early and often. That will open holes everywhere else. 

I’m surprisingly confident. Not sure why, I’m concerned all the flash and the allure of Soldier Field will be a bit blinding to the young guys, but who knows. I get the feeling something’s going to click tomorrow.

Maybe it’s indifference…??

Lol wtf is happening here? I feel like they can't run on us.. which means we will win. Irish by 9.. in a weird game.
