I have the Kyren run pulled up. Click play and it should start.

Before you say the success of this play was Buchner know I beg to differ

Let me set it up. Our best run Blockers are Patterson Madden, Lugg (55. 62, 75) This screen tagged to a zone run(RPO) had Lenzy in a stack one way(to the field) and  our 3 best run blockers to the boundary, (top of screen short side)

They executed and Kyren got free. There is no reason you can't run variation of this with either QB and have success

I hope they get an NIL deal with Flex Tape or Mighty Putty to plug up all the holes they left in pass protection.

There were  a variety of reasons for those sacks. Mostly on our young left side. One Kyren just didn't adjust to a blitzing linebacker. The fumble was a corner blitz.

So its basically fix the left side and use the right side of the line to your tactical advantage

I agree that the left side is the problem. Even with Carmody in there. They can’t handle the speed blitz yet.

But I slightly disagree about Buchner being the reason that play worked. Brees mentioned it in telecast, as soon as Buchner kept the two it drew the safety over allowing only one safety to help out. Where with Coan he didn’t have that. That’s on Coan for NEVER keeping at least one. Buchner didn’t create the wheel here. He just decided to keep a couple of them. If Coan would just keep 3-4 runs a game that would help out the run game a lot.
That’s where we agree. The line can be saved because of the Williams play. It demonstrated they aren’t helpless. However, I still see an issue when they did line up for one yard they got stuffed twice to my knowledge. That can’t happen.

Jack does need to keep the ball or using any kind of zone read run is useless/

The guards suck right now. Their technique is awful. They are not firing off the ball and when they make contact they quit moving their feet. That is horrible technique. I urge anybody to go back and look at maddens last year film and compare it to this years film. His technique was better last year.  Tash Baker was actually pretty good. the only time he had trouble was on the speed rush like what was mentioned above. His technique was bad. He was hopping instead of taking long strides. Lugg was doing the exact same thing.

I don’t have a Whole lot of faith that the technique is going to get cleaned up.

by the way, Carmody needs to be moved inside.  he’s not a tackle.  He is physical however.
