Not a surprise that ND tops the list since many of the Irish OL in the NFL are considered top shelf OL performers (both Martins, Q, Stanley, even McGlinchey is considered an excellent run blocker despite his trouble this season pass blocking) so they all are full-time starters. Add players like Sam Mustipher, Alex Bars, and Sam Young getting snaps as at least part-time starters, and it adds up.
(BTW, an NFL team probably has about 800 to 900 offensive snaps each season)
What surprises me is that Alabama is not on this list since they have had 11 OL drafted since 2013.
Even if some players lose snaps in 2021 (Young?), ND should be able to make a run at keeping the top spot since they should have 4 OL get drafted. Hopefully Stanley can come back healthy and McGlinchey can regain at least some of his pass blocking form.
Interesting stat from PFF:
Most snaps played by OL in the NFL this season:
1. Notre Dame - 5.3k
2. Wisconsin - 5.2k
3. Ohio State - 4.8k
4. Georgia - 4.2k
5. Florida - 4.1k
6. LSU - 4.0k
