thanks for everything Ian Book, 30-3 as a starter and 15-0 at home. I don't care what anyone says Ian Book is a ND legend and history will remember him that way, his career gave us fans incredible memories (2020 Clemson, 2019 VT, 2019 USC, 2018 LSU and so on). man all this kid did was make plays.

History is going to be very kind to Ian Book I think.

No tougher position than the QB at ND and he's handled the criticism and negative comments better than any who've preceded him. Kudos to finishing as the All Time leader in Wins and praying he adds to those totals before the season is finished. As he said following the game, 3 more to play! GO IRISH!

Ian book is one of the most underestimated QB ever! I am so happy that Tommy

Reese has been letting him do his thing.

Ian is very similar to Tommy Rees. I called him Tommy Legend and I am fine turning it over and saying....

Ian Legend!!!!

Let’s not forget that this was Lefleur’s guy. Also, very early in his career I said he could be Baker Mayfield in the sense of his star rating and statute. Well, not too bad. I still think he hasn’t untapped his full potential yet. But he’s really close.

I believe Book was Sanford’s recruit who was recruiting him at Boise St.

Legends don’t have noodle arms... Tommy had a great mind, but his skills weren’t there. Book needs to work on his mind. If he can get that straight, could be Jeff Garcia.

Really, if true, my mistake. But I could of sworn that it was Lefleur who wanted him real bad. But maybe it was Sanford...

I thought Book was committed to Mike Leach at WSU? Was Lafleur there too?

Β

I thought Mike Sanford was big into getting him to Notre Dame.

Hear! Hear!

Like I used to tell UM fans up here when they griped about Denard, you'll be sad when he's gone. Glad to see that, unlike "Offensive Weapon", Book is leaving with wins and a great run under his belt.

I second the earlier sentiment that this guy is going out an absolute legend. ND is unique in that incredible QB careers put guys on a pinnacle. He's right at the top and a natty gets him a statue ;).

Does anyone have knowledge? Where’s the archives?! Ha. Either way, I’m not sure if he was recruited highly.

At ND he was recruited by Mike Sanford and Mike Denbrock. Sanford replaced LaFleur in 2015 after he went to Falcons.

Listening to WSBT (South Bend) pre-game.

They are talking about Book and the Saints.

Evidently several teams have called the Saints asking about Book's availability.Β
