They have the one true thing that ND is weakest at. A first round wr who is open on every play. ND’s corner’s are still suspect and Smith had something like 9 catches for 219 in third quarter. That’s against LSU’s “talented” corners. I say talented because they were highly rated coming out of highschool. Either way, that guy torches everyone. ND will have fits trying to stop him too.

But we should first look at Clemson again.

What sucks....if ND were to beat Clemson again, that knocks them out and leaves tSOU at third. Making ND having to play tOSU then Bama to win the title. Bama would probably play another SEC team(which they already beat) or Cincinnati. Bama will be well rested after that game.

'Bama deserves the recognition they're getting with their WR's and Oline. But it's more difficult to gauge until they play FL in the SEC Championship as it's been a down year for the SEC overall and they've yet to face a D that can take on their Oline and pressure the QB. He's had all day in the pocket, allowing the Receivers to gain separation. If we in fact play them, I firmly believe our front 7 will be the best they'll face and if we can get to the QB, then game on. Urbie said on the Fox post game he feels FL has the players to take on Bama and if so, we'll learn a lot more about our chances should we have the opportunity. On the flip side, we'll know a lot more about our team when they play Clemson as they'll have far more to lose and miss out on the CFP with 2 losses. We win this game and ND becomes the odds on favorite to make it to the Championship game. GO IRISH!

Careful what you wish for....

I have no doubt this ND team can beat anyone on any given Saturday. However, their passing game is a nightmare for our secondary. On any given play, Lewis and/or Bracy would be up against Smith or Metchie.... not good.

I actually think that’s the one team they can’t beat. Maybe they can be competitive, but Smith is too much for the Secondary. What’s ridiculous, last year’s Bama team had 4 First round picks at WR: Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith, and Waddle

I agree. I don't think it would be 2012, but I think ND would lose by 10-14 points. Unfortunately, if ND loses to Clemson in the ACC Championship, they will likely have to play Alabama in the first round of the CFP.

I’d love to see our D line make Mac Jones their bitch.

Funny how much Bama had changed since those McCarron teams.

They’d be able to get pressure, but they’re not making him their b*tch.

Stop. This is probably bama's best team in a while. I hope we don't draw them round 1 after some rest.

Their teams usually play worse into November presumably because they all take roids and have terrible stamina/durability.

They cut through A&M like knife going through warm butter.

I think we can hold our own in the trenches but would be surprised if we beat Bama.
