November 20, 20204 yr That’s a pretty good list for a 3 star.Yes it is. Happy to have this young man on board. Welcome to Notre Dame Caleb Johnson!!
November 20, 20204 yr Looks long, lean, and athletic. This is a great recruit to get into the weight program and get them ready by junior year.

November 20, 20204 yr Still within its expiration date. Kelly said this offseason that he had a new view on ND's ability to compete in recruiting. While the winning has certainly helped, I don't think it's a coincidence that they are flexing some serious muscle on the recruiting trail. They're keeping what they get and taking from others.
November 20, 20204 yr Playing during Covid and not back down, along with our success, has really helped us recruit this year. Plus, there are a lot of good teams simply struggling to compete, so that helps too. It's a perfect storm, but I'm glad our administration decided to play. Other schools look very foolish right now the way things are handled which is not being missed by recruits.

It's ironic because it would have been safer for the Big Ten and Pac-12 to have started with everyone else. Now they're gungho trying to play catch up during a spike because they're worried that they won't get into the playoffs with a 4 game schedule. They could have cancelled/PPD some of these games if they had started on time.

Even if it its Ohio St or Clemson. No way that's right with how physical and taxing this sport is. They made their decision at first. Not right they shouldn't have to live with it.

No way that's right with how physical and taxing this sport is. They made their decision at first. Not right they shouldn't have to live with it. Totally agree. And this year the schedule goes into late December. The ACC title game is on Dec 19 and the first round of 4 is January 1, that only 12 days. Then 10 days off and you have the championship game on the 11th. So in three weeks time we would have to play Clemson, OS, and Alabama after just finishing a 11 game schedule the week before....
