My bros getting married Saturday which as we all know is the home opener and it happens to be my 24th b-day! Anyways, the game is at 2:30 EST (what time is that Cleveland? 1:30 or 2:30?), and the wedding crap starts at 3. So from 3-midnight I will be unable to watch the game. The way I see it, I have 2 options...

1) Transistor radio, we've all seen this on plenty of sitcoms. Not too complicated, but probably inappropriate since I'm in the wedding party.

2) I'm going to be TIVOing the game for consumption on Sunday. Should I do my best to become oblivious to the Irish for those few hours? If I happen to catch a random sports center clip or even just a family member at the wedding, it could all be for not.

Any other suggestions?

bluester.. Suicide comes to mind. Just kidding Just Kidding. Smile.

Jeese You could do a brothery sit down chat "Are you SURE you wanna go through this? :D Seriously I dunno.. maybe TV at reception?

Hope your not offended.

Bluester............it's 1:30 Cleveland time.

Here's a possible solution:

1.)Do you have a cell phone?

2.)Does your service allow for text messaging?

If you answered "yes" to both, you're in luck. You can set MSN Mobile up to text message you scoring updates that you can customize how you see fit.

1.) Go to http://mobile.msn.com/

2.) If you don't have an account, set one up.

3.) Go to the "Alerts" section.

4.) Go to the "Sports" section.

5.) Set your alert to your preferences.

6.) Put your phone on vibrate and check it when you get free moments from the festivities. Problem solved.

Granted, not nearly as satisfying as watching or listening to the game, but at least you'll be in the loop. Hope that helps.

Snatchy has the REAL answer. :D

I can't say I have no cell phone ability ecept to receive over this computer(Minority.) Goodf luck. Pour something good in the "UNGAH!" punch bowl. :drunk: :drunk: :drunk: :drunk:

or when the preacher says "does anyone not agree w/ this union" you could scream "for the love of everything pure and holy don't do it" and run out the back and find the nearest tv

 Toby thats 100% (Irish and pay hell for years to come.).. what the heck am I saying here after davie and Ty? Run to TV

It was pretty funny. the priest just looked at me and said well thats ok we will wait. and then everybody laughed but i could tell my bro and his wife were like you freaking idiot! after the wedding i was like uhhmmmmmm sorry and then whent to watch i think it was the marlins game or something, i dont remember. good times. i love my ringtone im never going to change it.

Let me just say this right now...the only thing that may interupt me from watching a nd game is if either its a night game and my parents wanna go out i would fight my way out of it and stay home. if i got a girlfriend and she wanted to do "something special" but i dont see that happening for awhile so i cant really answer that question yet. and if there is a b-day it depends on how much i care about the person. if its alot then i dont know...if its somebody i dont care about alot or dont feel like going or whatever screw that im watching the irish. id do alot to watch the irish even if they lose i wouldnt wanna spend those 3 hours doing anything else except maybe doing something with a girl...who knows...

go irish.

Snatchy, game is actually 3:30 on the east coast, at least according to my bro.

Which means my other brother planned it perfectly wrong. The ceremony starts at 5... but all the pre-wedding BS kills me (pictures).

For that hour and half I'll be able to check in occassionally. Then from 5-6 I'm screwed. After 6 the radio is coming out.

Oh yeah, I went the wrong way with the hour, I'm retarded. Anyway, hope the info helps.
