Yes its Chris Tyree, completely agree with his analysis by Van Harren. "Shifty, Elusive and Versatile" he also mentioned his speed, im telling you Tyree is a game changer, if he can grasp our offense early, blocking schemes, option routes and build chemistry with the our O-line/ QB he needs too play with no redshirt immediately (DUH !!!). There is just something about this kid has me thinking, in our gameplans he will fit in very seamlessly. I expect him to play this year (again, DUH !!!), but if by game 3 he is everything everybody has speculated, then damn we might have something special, he has said "hes not coming to redshirt during his freshman year".

His film analysis says he can block also. People are concerned about his size and being on the field as the main guy all the time. Folks, the kid is just a football player. He is a very special talent that is super fast, can run through the line, and break tackles. I would be stunned if he's redshirting next year.

If Kelly is going to retire in 4 or less years, then he has no reason to redshirt any incoming players.

You are right. Kelly knows these are going to be his last years to become immortal. He wants that NC and his own bronze statue. Which we know Jack will do day one if Kelly wins the NC. Kelly is not going to hold back the future is now for him.

Id be shocked if Austin wasn’t our breakout player.

I want a RB, to be our breakout player. Jones was decent, but we missed that HR threat we've had in the backfield (Prosise, Adams, Williams). Kevin Austin is a safe bet here. Also watch out for Xavier Watts too, kid has elite speed and an unreal football prowess about him. I think CBK has learned from Kyle Hamilton how to be a modern college football coach. If my true freshman is outworking my jr/sr players, then he will play. Thats why i feel if Tyree comes in and takes over that Backfield, if he proves he can be the feature back we need and handles the bulk of the work load, let him loose.

Kelly really has no excuse now. We have better talent committing to Notre Dame every year now. We are producing Pro Bowl level talent on both sides of the Ball for the NFL. Now its all about taking that next step. 1st time in the Kelly Era we are having QB coming in as the starter 2 years in a row (assuming Clark or Pyne dont play lights out in camps and dethrone Book), Our O-Line are rock solid mawlers in the 2 deep, defense is question mark, but not a concern.

No doubt we need him to be that guy. The issue is he’s pretty small and we know if he can’t run block he won’t be playing as much as we’d like him.

Yup Tyree makes a check down pass a first down. which helps a lot because QB's don't throw into double coverage as much. Not that Book did that much, but it also allows the QB to move on to the next play and stay ahead of the chains.

Yep, but he can take that check down pass, make the first guy miss and be off to the races!!
