Trump supporters?

Trump has spent a 100 plus million dollars of taxpayer dollars at his own golf courses and hotels. His foreign policy is partly dictated by his business holdings and personal gain and opportunity. He flies his diplomats, cabinet members and military members to his hotels and resorts and profits, even when those places arent on the way. Foreign dignitaries stay at his hotels and resorts in order to gain favor. Often times renting out entire floors that go unused. He has refused to fully divest himself from his holdings and refuses to show his tax returns, thereby preventing the public from knowing about where all his personal interests lie.

His 100 plus tweets a day are incoherent and mindless. He shows no restraint or ability to think rationally. He spends most of his days tweeting and watching television. He cares more about ratings than anything else, because he measures success on being well liked and popular. He has no real positions. He does and says whatever he thinks will make him popular.

He withheld money apportioned by Congress and never told them about it and refused to meet with an allied leader. He did so to put pressure on that country to open an investigation on a political opponent. Any other President would be long gone by now. But as others have said, Republicans will support him no matter what. They actually think hes rooting out corruption.

What Trump is good at is fooling people by yelling and screaming and accusing others of everything he does. People buy his act and hes great at it. The guy could sell you ice in Alaska with little effort. He will be acquitted and re-elected because Americans are infatuated with his money and power. He is what Americans define as success, especially the Boomer generation.

You don’t sound like a Trump supporter.

Trump or not, isn't that the issue with basically every politician out there? Look at the number of politicians who have been in office for 10+ years and how many flip flop all around on various issues., dependent upon whatever is popular in public opinion at the time.

What'd be nice is some sort of system where you can only run once, therefore you aren't in relection mode the minute you get into office.

Maybe 6 year terms for all elected offices and every office is limited to one term. That's it. Enough time to get something done, but not so long that you become a career politician. There are plenty of brilliant Americans who would probably do great things for the country, but they want no part in playing the political games.

If you think it’s just a Trump issue, you are blind. Both sides do whatever they can to line their pockets and stay in power. They’re both dirty as hell...it’s all about choosing the lesser of two evils based on the topics that are important to you. Even then, there’s a 1% chance of them doing what they say they will. Our system is broken and both parties are crap. Each has drifted so far to the ‘crazy’ edge of their party that the hopes of electing a true moderate will only come from a third party, and that isn’t going to happen.

Trump is a one off, who ever the nominee is in ‘24 won’t be as polarizing. He/she will be still be called a Nazi/White Supremacist/bigot bc the far Left owns social media.

I don`t know how true that is but Trump gives his salary to charity.

Also, Trump is the only President that has fulfilled his campaign promises or in the process of doing so.

Bingo, Duck. He's has kept every campaign promise he made: tearing up trade deals and reworking them to the benefit of the US, especially standing up to China. He has reformed the tax laws and has helped business of all sizes, grow and prosper; unemployment is at an all time low; the stock market is still setting records (as is my 403B); he said he would be our most pro-life president and has fought to keep our religious freedoms intact.

What Obama destroyed in 8 years on all these issues, he has rebuilt.

Say what you want about his lifestyle, mannerisms etc., (I am not a fan), he has delivered as promised And that's because he is not a politician from the swamp. And this impeachment will only blow up in the Democrats' faces and cost them the 2020 election (besides the fact they do not have a viable candidate). Pelosi's tactic, after rushing these charges through the House, is now to hold onto them and drag this out as long and deep into the election season as possible. By doing this, she is handing the election to Trump.

I deleted my post I wrote, because I realized that you will never understand and I would be wasting my time. I can only advise to maybe go to college, stop watching fox and open your mind to other perspectives.

He allegedly gives up his salary of 400k a year which is a pittance compared to what he is putting in his pocket.

Got no problem with the guy golfing or even taking a few vacations, but they should not be at his for profit businesses and resorts.

As colts said Trump could take a **** on their lawn and have an affair with their wife and they will make excuses. No point in conversating with these folks on politics. The DD forum is no place for facts. I listened to a speaker once on race issues and he was asked by a member in the crowd how he responds to people that respond with hate towards him for speaking on race issues, he said he doesn’t, they are too far gone. Realist **** ever spoken.

Let me guess, everything wrong with the world is the fault of white ppl? That’s modern leftists philosophy on race.

I don’t care, not paying for anyone else’s college. Especially these spoiled anti white, anti capitalist, anti American dip sh**ts.

Well I’m not paying for no spoiled kids college that’s for sure. We agree somewhat, but I like a lot of Americans am in some serious debt. I wouldn’t make the money I make without my degree, but I don’t invest and/or contribute to the economy as much as I could due to student loans. Yang says college costs are mostly administrative, he would get rid of that bs and cut the costs big.

There’s always been something wrong with the world. It’s important to understand that number 1. Number two it is important to understand that a lot of what has been wrong with the world is exclusion and exceptionalism (religion, race, nations, ect) that’s just fact.

I’d say a lot of what’s wrong in certain communities is the lack of fathers. That’s not the fault of white ppl. Everyone is so terrified of pointing out that issue bc it’s “racist” but it’s an epidemic.

Room & Board is often 1/3+ of total freshman tuition. I like Yang as a person, but I can’t back UBI.

Most jobs are being taken by AI or robotics. Soon all truck drivers will be out of business, farmers ect. He has a proposal that will eventually be a necessity anyways. Why not look into it before more people cost taxpayers more money with medical bills, bankruptcy, and other issues? Also, I paid my room and board with a self employed business. It still was not enough.

Didn't vote for Trump in 2016, but most likely will this go around. I will never vote Democrat until they stop trying to infringe on my gun rights. I used to think I could reason with the left, but they're so out of touch on gun facts that it's impossible.

If killing kids at Sandy Hook is not going to take your guns away I wouldn’t worry.

You shouldn’t vote on a single issue either, small minded. Edit, not saying you are small minded, saying it is to vote on a single issue.

Bulls**t. Nothing will help the black community until that issue gets fixed first. When 7/10 black families don’t have a father in the house, how do you expect all of the other issues surrounding education, violence’s, poverty to get fixed?

I’m not naive enough to believe any student can work part time and pay tuition. I’d lie to figure out a way to make college more affordable, but not free. European countries like Germany can offer free college bc they don’t have a glut of students bc they’ve got strong trade programs. Trades are looked down upon in the US. Plus, it’s not like some soyboy gender studies major could ever be a plumber or electrician.
