97domer
Where they got it wrong: - Oklahoma should be up a spot or two - Utah - way too high; should be around #10 - Penn State ranked over Minnesota (they just lost to them 2 weeks ago!) The top-6 seem right to me. I want to say that the 3-loss Auburn over ND is a mistake, but boy does Auburn have a tough schedule and have played everyone tight; plus a top-10 win 1. LSU (10-0) 2. Ohio State (10-0) 3. Clemson (11-0) 4. Georgia (9-1) 5. Alabama (9-1) 6. Oregon (9-1) 7. Utah (9-1) 8. Penn State (9-1) 9. Oklahoma (9-1) 10. Minnesota (9-1) 11. Florida (9-2) 12. Wisconsin (8-2) 13. Michigan (8-2) 14. Baylor (9-1) 15. Auburn (7-3) 16. Notre Dame (8-2) 17. Iowa (7-3) 18. Memphis (9-1) 19. Cincinnati (9-1) 20. Boise State (9-1) 21. Oklahoma State (7-3) 22. Iowa State (6-4) 23. USC (7-4) 24. Appalachian State (9-1) 25. SMU (9-1)

dangeruss
- Penn State ranked over Minnesota (they just lost to them 2 weeks ago!) totally agree, if head to head doesn't matter then why even play the games (just seems insane to me). other than that it looks fairly accurate. ND_JACK
Not to much to argue really. We deserve our ranking (Can't get clobbered like we did). I agree. That performance against Michigan was the final nail in the coffin. It wasn’t just the loss, they looked just..... Sorry I have to stop talking about that game I promised my psychiatrist I would not talk about it. I have been going to sessions ever since ..... it’s going to take months to fully recover. 97domer
The more this season progresses, the more I am confused by the Michigan game - it was so uncharacteristic of every other game this season. I feel like it is an anomaly, but boy was it a big one. We looked like team #125 in that game. I still feel like we are are a top 7 to 10 team, but that UofM game was such a head-scratcher. KellyisNasty
I dont understand Bamas rank. The only team they played that was ranked clobbered them and they lost their QB for the year. Oregon or Utah will likely get in if they win out because teams ahead of them play so that will be nice to see the PAC-12 finally get someone in. dangeruss
Didn't Washington already make the CFP? Oregon made the CFP in 2014 and lost to ohio state in the title game and Washington made the CFP and got smacked by bama.
Domer Dude
Massey has Bama at 6 and ND at
jbrown_9999
Just checking, is Southern Cal at #23, Kelly's only win over a ranked opponent this season? And that was a close game at home. If so, having two losses with one of them a complete disaster, ND is lucky that they are are not ranked lower.

tneun89
VA Tech will get there. Virginia will also get there after this week. Unfortunately, those two play each other at the end of the season, so only one will stay ranked. USC will beat UCLA, so they'll stay in the Top 25. Navy could even get back in if they finish 10-2 - they have to play SMU this weekend, which will be tough, but then Houston and Army, both games they should win. Officer Tim McCarthy
Need some upsets... Not sure if we'll even move ahead of PSU since they beat UM and we got smoked.
ndomer4
We better move up this week. If Navy wins then we will have 3 top 25 wins most likely (Navy, USC and VT). Only losses are to two top 10 teams.

Depending on how that goes they could fall out of the top 10.

They'd be the highest ranked 2-loss team, probably somewhere in the #7/#8 range.
ndomer4
Oregon now with two losses worse than us and less impressive wins. No way them or Auburn should be ranked ahead of us next week.
golson5
We'll stay at 16. Possibly move ahead of Auburn into
