What he has done with that program hasn’t been done there in over 40 year. Even better than what Lou did there.

Keeps getting overlooked that those more impressive wins are with Minnesota. This is a truly terrible football team he inherited. Lol. BK has notre dame.

Unfortunately, Brian Kelly is probably going to coach ND for at least two more years. As a result, unless Fleck stays at Minnesota, he is probably not ever going to be a real option for ND.

 

I still think Brohm will be someone to look at in a few years. He is a better recruiter than Fleck (based on his recruiting at both Western Kentucky and Purdue). I am willing to give him a mulligan this year given the ridiculous number of injuries they have been dealing with as well the lack of an O line due to poor recruiting by the previous coach.

 

But Brohm will need to have two good seasons in 2020 and 2021 to show that he is a serious candidate for ND.

 

I’m still high on Matt Campbell. If you can be a CONSISTENT winner at Iowa St, you can coach. Is there any other P5 program with such limited resources? You’re in the middle of nowhere, minimal regional talent and you’re the Beta program in the state.

You mean the Herman who did well at Houston? The same Houston that always churns out the next hot coach? Because Houston is a hotbed and the conference is a joke.

 

They lost by one score to Wisconsin in 2016. The senior class for Wisconsin’s recruiting ranking was 40th. Western Michigan’s class was 108th...

 

Our senior class in 2018 was ranked 13th, Clemson was 9th. Math was never my best subject but it might have been your worst.
