What happens if Penn St falls apart and finishes 10-3 (beat IU, Rutgers, lose to OSU and Bowl game)?

Also, didn’t MN almost lose to GA Southern this yr? One game doesn’t define a coach.

He’s already turned around 2 programs by year 3. I’m just hoping ND is the third.

Kelly didn’t turn around Cincy either, D’antonio built them up before him. He’s good not great and to be here for ten years you should be great.

I think he's gonna end up at USC...

BTW, Fleck and Kelly have one thing in common. They are both 0-1 in the Cotton Bowl.

That’s false. Kelly took Cincy to the next level. Hell, they were nearly in the National Title game his last yr. If Texas didn’t get time added back on the final play of the b12 title game, they could very well have ended up playing Bama.

As long as it’s not Meyer.

Not even close. It’s a good win, but people are getting to caught in the hype. He’s not a good X’s and O’s coach. As soon as ND loses a game 17-14, you’ll kill him for “Tressell Ball”

As long as that 17-14 loss is to a ranked, respectable team, i wont say anything. If you recall, ive lauded BK after both of his close losses to UGa.

Its the losses to teams that we shouldnt lose to that bother me...

When Fleck has been coaching as long as BK, I’m sure he’ll have those type of games. It happens to every coach.

Except one coach was competitive in his game... wonder who that was.

Well he just beat a team ranked in the top 5. BK has never done that. And PJ did it in his 3rd year...at Minnesota. Lol

I wonder if minnesota would barter PJ for BK.

That makes him look like an *******. Not to mention the pantomime rowing. It’s one win vs an overrated Penn St team. Oh yeah, his terrible clock mgmt almost lost the game. They’re just lucky Clifford is a slightly better version of Book.

You’re just being a clown man. Fleck won a game that we would all assume Kelly would lose. Don’t take that away from him. I’m all in on our savior Fleck.

One played Wisconsin, the other played the 15-0 National Champ

They had 13 yards of Offense in the 4th Qtr.

The second he’s coaching at ND and blows a big lead playing TressellBall, you’ll kill him. He’s not a good X’s and O’s coach.

Unfortunately, Brian Kelly is probably going to coach ND for at least two more years. As a result, unless Fleck stays at Minnesota, he is probably not ever going to be a real option for ND.

I still think Brohm will be someone to look at in a few years. He is a better recruiter than Fleck (based on his recruiting at both Western Kentucky and Purdue). I am willing to give him a mulligan this year given the ridiculous number of injuries they have been dealing with as well the lack of an O line due to poor recruiting by the previous coach.

But Brohm will need to have two good seasons in 2020 and 2021 to show that he is a serious candidate for ND.
