In Elder's defense, or at least I know where is going to go. He did say Franklin was a lousy coach who has like a 1-10 record against top 10 competition.

Nothing personal, just don’t believe he’s worth firing Kelly for. Unless it’s Urban, Kelly should not be getting pushed out. Winning at ND is harder than just about anywhere else, and while he was terrible a few weeks back, he’s earned some leeway.
