Oct. 15 Stanford Cardinal

Oct. 22 Navy Midshipmen

Well hopefully they can keep the 2020 and 2021 classes together. That schedule will not seem as scary with some of the players they have coming in.

Even one of the easier games against Syracuse is at Syracuse inside their dome. Remember the last time Willingham brought the Irish to the dome. I am still not over how bad we played. That dome with 50,000 is much louder then ND sold out.

Good thing that USC will probably be in year three of a new "outside" coach that season. If so, then no way they can be expected to be better than they are now.

I think the Day honeymoon may be over then too. They will still be scary good. I just don’t know how good until Day has his own recruiting classes.

The ungodly and brilliant PJ Fleck will have 2 National Titles by then.

Maybe Alabama and Oklahoma ARE on the schedule, cause there's only nine games listed

Doesn't seem much worse than any other year.

Ohio St. will probably be good.

Stanford will be average at best by then.

USC will be good.

Clemson won't have Lawrence anymore and maybe Swinney has taken over at Bama by that point and it's at ND.

If ND is worried about Navy, the season is lost anyway.

Who knows who the other three games will be, but 10+ wins wouldn't seem crazy.

It’s also 3 yrs from now. A lot can change.

Look at Holtz's 1989 schedule, where he went 12-1, and the opponent's final AP Poll Ranking. He played number's 1, 4,7,8, 15, 16, 18

Virginia (#18

Michigan (#7)

Michigan State (#16)

Purdue

Stanford

Air Force

USC (#8

Pitt (#17)

Navy

SMU

Penn State (#15)

Miami Fla. (#1)

Colorado (Bowl) (#4)

I feel bad for you guys who see a schedule and know the season is over before it even begins.

I’m not the one who thinks ND should fire Kelly for him.

Wow. Just keep your arguments in the coaching threads.

In all fairness, this is kind of dumb. It’s 3 yrs off and I sure, there’s options in the contracts of the non acc games that let them move the series.
