irishwavend
Does this loss turn the tide of recruiting against us like it did in 2002 when USC blew us out and went on to dominate us in recruiting for years...? I don’t think it should because our team feels much different, but I don’t want to discount the fact that Michigan may have turned a corner while we stagnate... TorontoCroatian
Aren't we in for a few Michigan linemen...as we were getting blown out last night couldn't stop wondering what these guys (Rocco something and Dellinger?) were thinking. I was also thinking about that Port Huron kid who blew us off though he did get badly injured... I hope our great looking so far 2021 class stays in tact...but damn that was embarrassing and who knows what is going through these kids minds. Big23Head
Nothing major right now but you have to wonder why ND has these types of games. There is a difference between losing and not showing up. If they follow up by playing like they can I don’t think it will have a huge effect. If ND stumbles through the end it could have some big effects.

I imagine with the rest of the schedule that ND comes to play and the recruits stay. But, I'm not holding my breath.

Agree they should be ok the rest of the season but yikes these horrible blowouts against mediocre teams every couple years just destroys any positive momentum they get. tneun89
Recruits almost never make decisions based on the outcome of one game. They don't react to a loss like fans do (thank God). Nobody in the 2020 class is jumping ship, and unless all hell breaks loose and ND loses 4 of the next 5, nobody is jumping from the 2021 class. There are so many different things that go into a recruit's decision to choose a certain school - they aren't going to put all that to the side because of a bad loss or a couple of bad losses. LasVegasIrish
No I don’t see that being the case.
