nd2000
Nothing to play for. Gotta see what he can do the rest of the year.
ELDER06
I don’t mind that, but he’s not any good either.
ndomer4
I think the future at qb is with either Clark, Buchner or Pyne. I have no clue why they’d want to come here after watching Chip Longs offence the last two years.

ndomer4
Transfer Portal Yeah that would be a good idea but I don’t see any good qb wanting to play here.
Kid Gloves
Transfer Portal Good call. Why don’t you apply for it and go to another board.
ELDER06
Sorry I don’t have a hair trigger to fire a coach that took ND to the playoff last yr. Or that I don’t believe Jurkovec is the savior of this team.

Those passes had zero zip. I don’t mind kicking Book to the curb starting this week, but Jurkovec would’ve been awful tonight too.

ELDER06
Hair trigger? It’s been 10 years! Time for a change! He went to the playoff last yr. You guys are clueless as to the disadvantage ND is at.

Neither are that good. Plus, we can’t ignore how awful the Defense was, they shouldn’t get a pass
Kid Gloves
He went to the playoff last yr. You guys are clueless as to the disadvantage ND is at. I am fully aware of the disadvantages ND faces. I am also aware of all of the advantages they have that the right coach can use. Fleck strikes me as a guy who would recruit better than BK and he would definitely have them ready to play in big games. If you aren’t willing to take chances to improve then you will never be great. I’ll ask you, what big games has he won? There’s a big difference bw taking a risk and making a stupid, emotional, and impulsive decision

ELDER06
You have no clue how good he'd be you've seen as much as the rest of us There’s a reason he didn’t beat out Book. He’s not that good either. Book has regressed, and I’m all for benching him. However, there’s other issues with the Defense and bad OL play being overlooked. Plus, we can’t ignore how awful the Defense was, they shouldn’t get a pass Yes the defense looked bad this week. They tackled like crap the whole first half, our vaunted DE's looked like ****. We hurt losing Coney, Drue, Pride, and Tillery. However, I will throw the defense a bone they stepped up and made adjustments late first half and in second half. But they were on the field the whole f'ing game because the offense hung them out to dry...again, in typical Kelly fashion we've watched for ten years. We've discussed this adnusuem that entire time, how this offensive scheme is hard for the D when it's not working against decent teams. Three and out almost every series kills our defense. Balis is a godsend, but he isn't a miracle worker to keep these guys from getting worn out being out there all game long. There is only so much the D can do, they need support from the offense who's supposed to be the ones scoring points.
