This is definitely surprising, but ND can bounce back from this. ND needs help at OT after the last couple of cycles, but there are plenty of nice options: Bryn Tucker (TN), Andrew Gentry (CO), Jimmy Christ (VA), and Tosh Baker (OT) are just a few guys that ND is in really good shape with.

He ended up lower on the board than the coaching staff originally anticipated. Junior film wasn’t great. Lotta upside but extremely raw. Probably would have accepted his commitment, but others are higher on the board.

Personally, I like this. If ND was taking 4-5 guys then I would be disappointed. I think the 2020 class is loaded with OT talent and several like ND a lot so I see no issue. Kevin may turn out to be a great player but he really struggled last year and is in limbo right now as he isn't playing HS football this fall. He definitely has the tools and potential but I think some others guys can be as good if not better. BC should be a great fit for him.

Too old to play in his HS league. Likely he turns 19 too soon. Apparently not playing prep ball either last I knew, so just training I'd assume.

I also think he will graduate from HS this year because he was thinking about re-classifying. I could be wrong on that though.
