Next Wednesday (2/7) we will know the full class. ND should add a few players and should sign OL Luke Jones.

Remaining prospects will be C'Bo Flemister, Lawrence Keys III, Nicholas Petit-Frere, Jarrett Patterson, Derrick Eason, Solomon Tuliaupupu, DJ Brown, and Noah Boykin.

Current predictions:

Flemister (ND 100%)

Keys (ND 75%, Texas 25%)

NPF (ND 50%, UF 30%, OSU 20%)

Patterson (UCLA 75%, ND 25%)

Eason (ND 100%)

Solo (USC 90%, ND 10%)

Brown (ND 75%, NW 25%)

Boykin (UF 75%, ND 25%)

I'm gonna flip flop on Patterson and Petit-Frere btw. Said this a few days ago, but Patterson looks to be trending UCLA while some reports suggest Petit-Frere has eliminated Bama. I'll roll with ND on him for now.

If ND can land any 4 or 5 on that list I will be very pleased

this would be a nice finish to the class.

is it me or has the early signing period dramatically dulled down the excitement of NSD.

For the better for the sake of ND

if ND landed (very realistic)

NPF

Brown

Boykin

Eason

Flemister

This would be Kelly's best class.

Dream finish:

NPF

Solo

Keys

Brown

Flemister

Further on danger's question, I love the new early signing period. It allowed us to re-stack after getting the 21 kids signed and really chase the last few priority kids to fill out the class. I'm sure the staff likes the new format as well. It will be interesting to see how kids react next year and beyond given coaching changes, etc. Do more commit but not sign in December or do more decide to sign early and lock in? We may see more lock in early next year with the smaller class expected.

Boy, Alabama us waiting ion an awful lot of guys. They will either hit the jackpot or crap the bed. Hoping for No. 2!

How likely is it that we get one or both? I think I read somewhere that NPF has been a silent commit for awhile. Is that true? Does it hurt us that HH is gone?

Crapping the bed would be extraordinary after winning a national title. But we live in strange times.

Building more and more confidence that ND will land 4 guys with 5-6 possible. Should be a nice signing day for ND.

any big fish?

any big fish?

I think ND lands at least one of NPF/Patterson and honestly they could land both. If you consider Keys or Brown a big fish, then those two are probably ND as well

Sounds like Solo isn't even considering ND anymore. I wonder if there is any back story. Really thought ND had a legitimate shot about a week ago.

ND has a legit shot at the rest, although Boykin is probably 90% going to UF.

Give me NPF and the four locks (Eason, Brown, Keys, Flemister), and I would rate this as the second best BK class (behind 2013).

Get all of this years hay in the barn and keep momentum up with the juniors we are after. I like the way things are looking.

My understanding on Solo is that his USC Official a weekend or so ago sealed it.

Notre Dame targets set to announce on National Signing Day

247Sports and Irish Illustrated brings you the details of when the Notre Dame targets will announce their decisions during Wednesday's National Signing Day festivities.

On Wednesday, multiple Notre Dame targets will announce their commitments and sign their letters of intent.

247Sports and Irish Illustrated brings you a look at when these recruits will sign and share their decisions publicly.

Things are expected to get underway around 9 am ET, as Norfolk (Va.) Norview three-star defensive end Derrick Eason is supposed to announce his final decision, although it come come even earlier that morning. Eason is committed to North Carolina State, but all signs point toward him flipping to Notre Dame at that time.

Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep five-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere is expected to announce is decision at 10 am ET on ESPN. The elite prospect has a group of finalists that include Notre Dame, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and Michigan. Petit-Frere will likely tell the schools his decision tonight or tomorrow and go public on Wednesday.

It will be Notre Dame or UCLA for Mission Viejo (Calif.) high school four-star offensive tackle Jarrett Patterson. The west coast standout will likely inform the coaches of his decision on Monday or Tuesday and go public on Wednesday at 10 am ET.

Look for a decision around 12 pm ET from Anaheim (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu. Arguably the top prospect at his position, Tuliaupupu will choose between USC, UCLA and Notre Dame. All signs point toward the Trojans keeping him in-state.

Washington (DC) HD Woodson four-star cornerback [Noah Boykin] is expected to choose from Notre Dame and Florida at 11:30 am ET. Ohio State and Penn State made things interesting down the stretch, but most expect him to ink with the Gators on Wednesday barring a major surprise.

Washington (DC) St. John’s College three-star cornerback DJ Brown will pick between Notre Dame, Northwestern and Cal on Wednesday at 2:30 pm ET, although a public announcement could come a little earlier than that. The Fighting Irish remain in great shape to land him.

Zebulon (Ga.) Pike County three-star running back C’Bo Flemister is committed to Georgia Tech, but a flip to either Notre Dame or Tennessee is expected. He’ll announce his decision at 5:45 pm ET, but says he’ll sign early and send in his paperwork. I believe something could come out prior to his evening announcement and the expectation is that Notre Dame lands his signature.

As it stands now, the final announcement details for New Orleans (La.) McDonogh 35 four-star wide receiver Lawrence Keys III remain unknown. He’ll choose between Notre Dame, Texas and SMU on Wednesday, but the exact time isn’t known quite yet. The Fighting Irish are the heavy favorites in this recruitment.

Same thing with Irvin. He went from almost committing to apparently the staff saying they weren't calling him back unless he reached out. I know he had the family issue, but it didn't seem do be a distance thing as he was also looking at Bama and UW. Neither are a short drive away from SoCal.
