Good game so far. Holding tough.

Djogo is looking good out there

Refs stole that one. Though, going to have a hard time making the tourney if you can’t pull these close ones out. No, idea why Farrell dresses but doesn’t play 1 second?

He dressed for emergency only is what they said.

They played well. Bad call at the end stole that game.

Down 1 7 seconds left seems like an emergency? At least, draw up a play and use him as bait.

Are you serious? Bring a guy off the bench for 1st time at end of game? LOL! NO! Gibbs almost pulled it out. Would have been a huge confidence booster for him.

I for one think these injuries are the best thing that could have happened to this team. This team was just getting complacent watching Bonzie and Farrell do their thing. Colson was starting to force a lot on offense. These other guys weren't really developing.

It has forced Gibbs to become better and take a lead role. It has forced the offense to move the ball around and get into Geben more. It has forced Harvey to come out of his shell and gain confidence. It has forced Brey to give more players playing time and experience. It has forced Djogo and Pflueger to hunt their 3 pt. shot more. It has forced them to get used to crashing the boards better. It has forced them to increase defensive intensity. This team has grown up a lot in these last 3 games!

If ND can get a healthy Colson and Farrell back for March, they could be a very interesting tournament team.

Basketball reffing sucks. That’s all I have

All, this goes for nothing if they don’t start wining games. March won’t even matter. Also, if Farrell is supposedly going to play Tuesday, it makes no sense he didn’t play a little today. Not, sure what 3 extra days is going to do to his ankle? TBH probably a good idea he doesn’t play Tuesday as well.

I do agree they’ve grown up a lot, but all this does is gives me more confidence for next year. There’s, a lot of Ls upcoming on their schedule and they need to hit 20 to have any chance to make the tourney.

The last minute and a half of officiating was bad. Overall, thought the boys played well and it was fun to watch them compete yet again without Colson and Farrell. Really excited about Djogo’s future.

For the love of God though, we can’t be playing Torres that many minutes. He’s a liability on offense. Love his engery and defensive ability in spurts, but he’s makes it 4 on 5 on offense, and simply has no touch around the basket.

Agree with you LV. His lack of hands and touch on O is frustrating, but live his effort.

Glad Djogo had a good game. He’s looked slightly shaky previously and I think he is is an intriguing player.

Yeah Torres has to be one of the worst offensive players I have seen at Notre Dame.

I have a feelin Paul Moala could be like Torres. Local products who weren’t rated high. Hope I’m wrong usually am.

yeah torres was the reason ND lost to IU. the entire team played well and nearly won the game without their two best players. when the UNC player air balled at the very end I thought for sure ND had won the game. then gibbs was so close on the last shot....oh what could have been.

Team in an OT battle with Louisville, however Harvey is out with a knee injury.

With all the injuries we've faced I would almost rather see us in the NIT this year because I think we have a legit chance to win that and probably no chance in the big dance.

This, loss all but does imo. Way, to many tough games in the future you know this team won’t win.

Man they battled with everything they had...just can't finish these close games. HATED seeing Gibbs challenge a 7 footer at the end of the 2nd OT. He needed to kick it out for an open 3 to go for the win!

100% want them in the dance...IF they could get healthy they could still cause A LOT of havoc! If they lose Harvey though, it really might be the knockout punch that sends them into the NIT...Really a shame for a team that had such promise coming into the season.

A few bad shot choices at the end. Ferrell was short on about everything he shot in the second half. Out of playing shape. Gibbs shot was not the look we wanted. For all our Torres bashing he was clutch on D.
