I remember the games he called and voice cadence like it was yesterday. He will be missed. The absolute best.

January 13, 20187 yr He was the granddaddy of them all. Best CFB play by play announced ever....even if he didn't like ND.
January 13, 20187 yr Coined the term “big uglies” when it was a battle up front... Later became the theme for my college hook-ups... Just sayn... Go Eagles!!!
January 14, 20187 yr He was the granddaddy of them all. Best CFB play by play announced ever....even if he didn't like ND. Agreed. Sometimes I'll put games on mute and try my best Keith Jackson play by play. One of those iconic sports voices that I got to grow up with like Harry Cary and Howard Cossell.
January 17, 20187 yr by far my favorite play-by-play guy for college football. RIP. Easily the GOAT !!! So so good. I feel like all play by play guys suck now
January 17, 20187 yr He was so slanted when we played Michigan. I hated him for that. But looking back, the man was a heck of an announcer. RIP
