You are always welcome to anything I put on here Brian! Great stuff as always!

I wouldn't mind seeing andy heck given a shot.

Andy would be perfect. Catch is he would need to leave the NFL.

He would continue the Joe Moore, Hiestand line of coaching.

Hands inside, eyes up, lift and drive, lower hips win.

Just from my time watching coaches get hired, the longer it takes the More likely it is to be an outside hire.

Feldman reported on Justin Frye yesterday and him being from a Catholic University who can run the football, he seems to be a fit.

I think if it were Quinn we'd hear it very shortly, so thats probably positive for those who want an outside of the staff hire.

We'll have to wait and see.

Directly from the Urban Meyer tree through Steve Addazio, surprised to hear that. I think Addazio's teams always run the ball well, so I disagree respectfully.

Certainly not a huge name but he has good lineage.

Frye would be a pretty underwhelming hire.

I disagree, I think heck would be the home run hire given he was a co captain on the 88 championship team and now has extensive o line coaching experience in the league. But if he does pass I wouldn't be unhappy with frye at all, he'd be better then quinn imo

I don't want Quinn. No more inside hires. Kelly needs coaches who will come in and run the group the way they see fit, not however Kelly wants them too. Heck would be a great hire, and could sell to the kids his NFL experience, but also his championship college experience. And how Holtz coached practices etc.

As for Frye, I like the way BC runs the ball. They are physical and try and beat you up. They don't get the greatest talent, but they play tough. I think it would also be a great hire . I want a more physical OL group. Hiestand was good about teaching fundementals, and that's very important. I want someone who will teach that, but also physicality .

I'd love to seek them land Heck, but don't see it. I think they end up with Frye.

How about Les Miles? Good recruiter also

Any update on the oline and safety coach search?

most people believed that temple had the best safety duo in the country this year, says a lot for player development.

Would really like both of these hires.

I like the safety coach for the uc bearcats. Im sure he's a strong recruiter as well.

Man I would like both of those hires a lot.

Would be a lateral move backwards for Heck. Now if you were looking at him to replace Kelly as HC, I'd think he would still be a home run hire

It’s actually starting to look like Terry Joseph from North Carolina could be the new secondary coach. Tremendous recruiter and good ties to the south.

Still thinking Frye for line, but Bob Bostad from Wisconsin and Joe Gilbert from the Colts are options as well. Looks like that is the top 3

Very cool. Seemed odd that a DC would be interested in a position coach job. That makes sense

Thanks seemed like there had to be more names. I'll do some research on videos
