Posted January 8, 20187 yr If Georgia wins the whole thing and knowing we came 1 point from beating them. What do you think?
January 8, 20187 yr i would feel pretty good about that 1 point loss. however UGA is a much better team now then they were when ND faced them in week 2.
January 8, 20187 yr If Georgia wins the whole thing and knowing we came 1 point from beating them. What do you think? I think the Miami and Stanford games took away any potential positive feelings for me about that 1 point loss to Georgia.
January 8, 20187 yr Author i would feel pretty good about that 1 point loss. however UGA is a much better team now then they were when ND faced them in week 2. And WE regressed.... smdh
January 8, 20187 yr Even if Alabama wins. just the fact that Georgia is in that game , and that clearly we were very evenly matched teams translates....that we should have won 11 and at a minimum should NOT have played so poorly toward the end of the regular season....late season woes becoming an endemic problem aloha
January 8, 20187 yr I'm not into moral victories, but to use this same logic how do you think Auburn feels?

January 9, 20187 yr You want perspective? There was a 9 year run when Alabama went 107-13. 4 of those losses were to ND. For all of those who have watched the decline of our fb program, these kind of moral victory exercises-or whatever you want to call, "how do you feel about our loss if GA wins it all" - only feel like pouring salt in the wound to me. Commence the "you're an unhappy old man" outrage. lol!

January 9, 20187 yr Let's be honest. Georgia beats us by 17 now. It's amazing how fast Smart has gotten Georgia so good. Too bad we can't get a guy like him.

January 9, 20187 yr Georgia is also loaded with 5 stars who probably can't even spell their own names. And it's amazing how many of those five stars we wanted BADLY and recruited them like it. Michel, Carter, Eason, Theus OL, and probably a few more I can't think of off top of my head. Don't want to hear about them being dummies because I'm pretty certain they were cleared for ND academically.
January 9, 20187 yr UGA is one of the top ranked state schools in the country, my daughter was offered by both ND and UGA for volleyball and the admissions for UGA's womens sports is as difficult as ND. I'm sure there are exceptions for football, if you do some research ND offered several UGA players.
January 9, 20187 yr Don't you always say it means more then the head coach at nd? Do you think smart would be successful at nd? I don't see a reason Smart couldn't be successful at ND. Seems like a good coach.
January 9, 20187 yr Smart would be successful wherever he was, just like Saban. So detail oriented. While he was doing the halftime questions, Smart said his biggest complaint was special teams making to many penalties. That's driving home the point of every facet matters, and attention to detail.

January 9, 20187 yr I'm not delusional I plainly stated that I'm sure there are exceptions for football maybe you should learn reading comprehension.
January 9, 20187 yr I'm not delusional I plainly stated that I'm sure there are exceptions for football maybe you should learn reading comprehension. My favorite part of every thread is when we turn on one another and start insulting each other.

January 9, 20187 yr I'm not delusional I plainly stated that I'm sure there are exceptions for football maybe you should learn reading comprehension. Maybe you should understand context. Why mention how great the school is if you already know they make exceptions for football players? Sounds like you just wanted to brag about your daughter.
