January 8, 20187 yr Was at disney today with those morons having a parade claiming a national title and having a parade. If those a-holes played an SEC schedule, I'd love to see their true record... I'm all for saying the college system is f***ed,but you can't legitimately think you're good enough to be national champs when your only quality games all year were Memphis and Auburn. Heck, half the teams they played were practically 1-AA... Ugghhh...

I'm all for saying the college system is f***ed,but you can't legitimately think you're good enough to be national champs when your only quality games all year were Memphis and Auburn. Heck, half the teams they played were practically 1-AA... Ugghhh... Seriously? I am glad we didn’t play them. Frost did things there that will be talked about for years. 0-11 to 12-0 in 2 years? They are good enough to beat the SEC team that did beat both the SEC teams that are playing for the championship. I think that if the hurricane hadn’t kept them from playing Georgia Tech, they would have been given more respect and possibly played Clemson instead of AL. It’s also great to see an AD stand up for his team. They gave bonuses to coaches that were already gone. Who wouldn’t want to coach or play there? Maybe that’s why they are picking up all these transfers. Cities and schools should stand up for their teams in situations like this. Let them have a parade. Did you watch a single one of their games? They played with an intensity and heart. I wish Notre Dame has shown half of their want when they went to Miami. Glad Notre Dame hasn’t ever disputed a National Championship.
January 8, 20187 yr I appreciate what UCF did but they wouldn't have gone undefeated in the SEC. They have no idea what type of physical pounding and attrition they would have faced from playing Georgia, Bama and Gerogia consecutively. With the schedule they played I would not be shocked if UCF had very few injuries. One game against Bama and a quarter their starters at least are in the medical tent. I also don't think Auburn cared about the game because that program is national title or bust. Everyone called it as we saw it with Bama and Utah years ago. It's hard to get up for a game that means nothing when you beat both teams playing for the national title and in convincing fashion. Meanwhile for UCF it is their super bowl, no doubt a good team who might have deserved a playoff shot if it were 8 teams but their schedule did not warrant it at this time. January 8, 20187 yr I am from Nebraska and unfortunately for me the Huskers will be back with this hire and I'll hear all about it from all my fam. FML
January 9, 20187 yr I also don't think Auburn cared about the game because that program is national title or bust. No. They didn't want to lose to UCF. This statement is an excuse. They were trying to win, and they didn't. Let UCF have a parade. Nobody outside of UCF considers them a national champ, so let them have some fun. Heck, at least the administration there LIKES their football program.
