January 4, 20187 yr FWIW, Austin and Boykin were in the Offesne-Defense bowl. Ademilola and Moala are in the Polynesian bowl.
January 4, 20187 yr Read that JurKovec, Allen, and Ademilola were struggling in practice. But they also said Simon looks like a 5*
January 4, 20187 yr Read that JurKovec, Allen, and Ademilola were struggling in practice. But they also said Simon looks like a 5* Heard that about Jurkovec and Allen, but the opposite for Ademilola. Heard he was the best interior lineman for the East.
January 4, 20187 yr Heard that about Jurkovec and Allen, but the opposite for Ademilola. Heard he was the best interior lineman for the East. Ademilola has performed great. Probably the best of any interior lineman. Jurkovec struggled yesterday, but his offensive line didn’t help much. Allen was barely thrown at. I wouldn’t say he struggled more so than he just was a non-factor. Simon/Ademilola have been awesome
January 4, 20187 yr Author Even though I created this thread, I have never taken too much stock in how the players performed in these games. They have like one week of practice, create no team-unity (its just about how to make themselves look good), and a bunch of show-boating on their first national stage. I wouldnt put too much stock in certain positions, especially QBs with make-shift OLs and no rhythm with WRs. DL usually have the best showings in these games because they are mostly just pure talent and no scheme or chemistry is necessary.

I think how they perform in the game is a non-factor but it’s nice to hear about practices....these teams are full of talent and if our guys seem more talented than their competition it can only mean good things when they get to campus
January 6, 20187 yr Daniels are St Brown look like ultimate douchebags. Cant wait to beat them the next few years
January 6, 20187 yr Been watching the game today. St Brown is a diva clown. Maybe a big time receiver but we don't need that crap. He will fit in nicely at USC. (My guess).

January 6, 20187 yr you can say it was a miss. I will say it worked out for the best. Go Irish, Beat Trojans

He's a punk, but he'll be really god dam good. Sometimes, you've gotta eat a little sh1t when you've got a supreme talent like this.
January 6, 20187 yr Well Big Phil threw a nice pick. Guess, it’s Book for 18. Realistically, he was never going to be able to start as a true Frosh. Still, give him a shot to win the job, can't close off the competition this early.
January 6, 20187 yr I would absolutely love St. Brown in Blue and Gold. I’m taking a different approach then most of you. I love his fire/cockiness on the field. ND could use more of it. Kids gonna be a stud
January 7, 20187 yr I never put much if any stock at all in these all star games, half the time the guys could care less about playing in them. I remember our provincial all star game, obviously not the same level but we had a few CFL guys in the game. I just remember getting hammered at a party the night before and remember a god majority of my teammates saying the same thing. Basically these things are nothing for these kids other than some publicity and bragging rights. One thing I did take away is that Phil has a funky release and didn't seem like he has much zip on the football. I think Book might be or guy for a few seasons.

Kids gonna be a stud Understood just not for me. I like confidence but I feel like if a play costs your team, its not worth it. Second one to the service members was fine. First one, delaying the game while the ball was still in play, turns my stomach followed by a commercial for protein powder at your hat picking ceremony before you choose your college. Jimmy Clausen put himself in a hard situation showing that kind of confidence.
