Ohio State vs USC should be interesting

USC turned it over early and OSU cashed in the 7. True to form, its the passing of USC vs the rushing of OSU.

It is really hard for me to watch this game. I am routing for USC. Very painful.

Line play seems to favor OSU by quite a bit. USC seems to only being moving by throwing it real quick, and OSU average run is longer thus far.

Trojans were lucky to keep it close. Their D looked incredible in the 2nd half. Difference I think was how much better OSU's O and D line were against their counterpart.

As much as I hate USC Sam Darnold is a good kid, he is the one of the most overhyped QBS ever though. His throwing motion is terrible, Tim Tebow style. It is really bad. He does a decent job on the run when he is throwing off his front foot. Sitting in the pocket, which he will have to do in the nfl, he is not good at all. People raves about this qb class, I disagree. Josh Rosen doesn’t have heart, Darnold doesn’t have anything technically. Baker Mayfield and kid out of Wyoming might be best bets to be a starter in the nfl. Josh Rosen is Johnnie without the legs and drug problem.

The Wyoming Kid is the worst one

I don't think this game is enough to spark a debate about a playoff expansion but it might be best to get the 5 conference champs in and 3 at large bids, would help us get in as well.

 

OSU has been inconsistent all year but with so much time to prepare and heal, anything can happen. The way their defense played and looked tonight, they have a chance on any given night of beating all of the top 4 teams.

Utah is the only Pac-12 team to win a bowl game so far.

 

Washington is their last chance but they have to get past Penn St which should be tough for them.

Is it just me or is Sam Darnold completely overrated?

 

I watched him 6 games this year and he left me completely underwhelmed. Wake Forest and NCSt QB looked so much better imo.

 

If I am an NFL gm with the first pick overall Baker Mayfield is the first player off the board. I would tell Darnold to go back to school, the same advise Kiser should have got.

It's not just you. I watched damn near every sc game this year out here and he was bad in so many of them. He's pretty damn fast, but his pocket presence is garbage and he's so damn loose with the ball. Give him time to throw and he will pick you apart though.

If someone is still willing to take him top 10 then he would have to steal the money and go. He needs another year in school but I think he peaked as a sophomore.

OSU shut down their offense in the 2nd half. They played it very conservative. They allowed USC to take all the risks and let them shoot themselves in the foot.
