Consensus four star recruit

247 Composite: #213 overall, #10 ATH

247: #145 overall, #4 ATH

Rivals: #13 ATH

ESPN: #261 overall, #23 ATH

Offers: Cal, Colorado, Michigan State, Oregon, Oregon State, Purdue, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington State

Did he sign or is he verbal?

Speed speed speed. Much improved player from his junior year.

Looks like a good corner on tape, any chance we use him at defensive back or did we recruit this guy as purely a wide receiver?

He signed.

He signed.

This kid is faaaaaaaassssssttttt.

100m - 10.62 seconds

He covers a lot of ground with each step.

Speed kills that's for sure and he is an awesome get in this class.

However, if you read his journey piece, it is pretty disturbing to learn that after he decommitted from ND earlier, his twitter account lit up with some nasty comments from supposed "ND fans," that are disgusting. No wonder some hate ND so much. Wish these fans would examine their conscience and be happy and and accept a young man's decision to choose the best path for himself.

Purely a wide receiver. Sounds like he will get a shot to return kicks next year as well.

Unfortunately, it’s not only Notre Dame.

Not to be dramatic. But when I watched Braden's film last year I was very impressed, when he flipped my stomach turned

I think of a guy who can keep the safety deep by virtue of being on the field. Fear that he will run by me exists. That fear, is something offenses crave.

Will Fuller did that last, does wonders for your offense on 3rd and long and all other passing situations, even helps the running game.

Is he fast enough to catch Wimbush's overthrows?

This is so awesome!! I was so bummed when he decommited. He goes to a school that was one of my high schools bigger rival! Pretty cool. F Tigard highbut hell yeah Lenzy

Lol oops! You accidentally said return kicks. You mean kneel down/fair catch kicks?

Thanks faith, love your perspective. Yes, I’m fact how many times during game chats did we discuss how the opposing safeties first steps were forward? No one respected the deep threat on this team.

ND recruited him at WR, but many believe he would make a really good corner as well.

Yeah I wonder if he could be our Adoree Jackson if we needed him to be.

Yeah at Miami their Corners were 5, 6 yards off, thinking thats all the head start they needed to keep up. Now a couple guys beat the corners with the head start, but most of the time they were stride for stride. ESB got deep on the first drive and the throw missed.

Its like we were playing NC STATE, we didn't think the receivers could run by our corners after a small head start, so we sat on routes and got a pick.

Miami sat on our routes and turned us over.

Speed changes that, the umbrella gets bigger, there is more space for the tight ends. The safeties can't be involved in exotic pressures because if they are the corner will eventually give up a big play or a TD.

The more speed we get the more potential our team has.

Then why dont we play cj sanders? I believe he has the fastest 40 time on the team and although it's not apples to apples, as a return guy his has to be pretty good.

CJ is a different type of player than Lenzy, Stepherson, Fuller, etc.

He doesn’t threaten teams with the deep ball cuz that’s not the type of receiver he is. He’s strictly a slot guy that beats you more in the short/intermediate game.
