Who ya got?

Bama fans will argue the loss to Iowa and OSU will argue they are conference champs. Personally I feel like they should penalize Bama for scheduling Mercer before Auburn and lacking quality wins. I would go with OSU because they have a much better resume, the only way they won't get in depends on how the committee views the Iowa Game.

Regardless I think it's going to be OU or Clemson winning it.

OSU has two top ten wins, who has USC beat?

Felt like an ND game, I was rooting for Wisconsin so hard.

OSU has the better resume - three wins (Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan State) that are better than Bama's best win (LSU).

But I would bet that Bama gets in because of the "eye test."

I hate both, so I don't really care. But I think I'd like to see OSU get left out, just so their fans can cry about getting left out as a conference champion. Oh, the irony.

Bama....Can't lose by 31 points to a 7 and 5 team. That ends the discussion there. That would never ever happen to Bama.

Bama.

OSU's 'top' wins are all against pumped up Big 10 teams.

They were bitch slapped by both OU and Iowa. That's far too much to overcome. They needed to destroy Wisconsin like a few years back to get in and fell short.

Oh, so right on. I completely agree with this. I hope this happens.

I was thinking about this earlier, I don’t see OSU getting in ahead of bama. OSU had 2 really bad losses. Personally I would much rather have seen Wisky come through and win the Big One.

I’ll take getting hit by a car over those options...

Bama gets in. Both have a loss to top 10 teams but OSUs loss to Iowa is too much for them to overcome. Also OSU lost at home to Oklahoma while Bama's only loss was on the road. If the committee thought Bama's schedule was so weak why did they have them rated number 1 or 2 for so many weeks? They could have rated them lower like Wisconsin and Miami. They would never admit it but Ohio States loss to Clemson last year is still in the back of committee members minds

Even though Bama had a weak schedule OSU had 2 really bad losses, Bama is in.

Bama is better, but OSU will get the berth. There's no way they're gonna put 4 southern schools in the playoffs.

Personally, I'd prefer they expand it to 8. I'd like to see how the entire country plays one another.

OSU got spanked at home and gave up 50+ to a mediocre Iowa team. Bama, no doubt. But on the blind test, USC has the better resume

Neither OSU or Bama deserves the playoff based on resume. OSU was waxed twice by teams. Why would you put them in the playoff after that?

Bama played a weak schedule and lost their last game. Because of that, I don’t think they deserve it...but I would definitely put them in over OSU.

Bama.

Yeah, those two losses were a death blow to their resume. They had Wisky down 21-7 and let them back in the game instead of blowing them out.

Alabama gets the nod with just one loss to an Auburn team that was a close game.

The committee always says that good wins are better then bad losses and being a conference champ matters which seems to lean towards ohio State. personally I think bama is the better team but I won't be surprised at all if it's osu

I see your point

Both are conference champs, but USC's losses are much more respectable than OSU's. Irrellavent because Bama is going to get the nod.

You don't get in when you don't't play in your conference championship game. PERIOD.

Unless it's last year and you're that same OSU team. Just another way Urbie wins again. My only hope is, if they do get in (which I also expect) is that they get matched up with Clemson again with a similar result as last year. (I have extra motivation to see them fail because of where I live.)

OSU did last year
