It is so weird. It’s like we knew what the goal was. We had a reason to play. The poof..

I blame coaching for this. Clearly they told Wimbush no matter what don't throw a pick. He lost all his confidence, and his mechanics are crap. The mechanics you can fix.... In the offseason. I blame coaches for not getting a borderline *5 qb ready. He has the arm, that isn't the question. Accuracy and decision making are.

 

Think he wants to. Hopefully he puts in the work in the offseason. Still think he can be special, but I'm a glass is half full guy. Plus I'm drunk. Go Beer!!

They just reverted to the mean. After 8 years of Brian Kelly, you've seen this all before. What you were seeing earlier was fools gold.

Just like when I defended Tommy Rees, Wimbush is what he is. He is giving 100% IMO. He is not that great I agree. Who should Kelly put in at QB?

I wouldn't say he sucks. He's struggling for sure. THERE WERE PLENTY OF PASSES THAT HIT RECEIVERS HANDS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT THE LAST 4 GAMES.

This is very true. His receivers offer very little in the way of help and making plays.

 

But holy moly, how bad has he looked this month? Miami was an epic meltdown and tonight's 4th quarter was just woeful. The game was still right there when he threw that first INT. Wtf was he even looking at?

 

Then he misses a receiver who is about 10 yards open for a score. He telegraphs an under thrown ball in the end zone for another INT.

 

We have had some bad QB play for the past couple of decades but this takes the biscuit. I was a fan when he managed the game but now he can't tie his shoelaces. His regression has been spectacularly bad, even for Brian Kelly coached QB.

I see four QBs getting time next year is what I see. I think the leash is going to be really short for each until Jurkovic is anointed the future of the program mid to late season. It's going to be another **** show given what we'll lose on offense.
