I just had a free moment and thought I’d post a little something!

 

I’m still concerned that the ‘Injury game’ where Wimbush and Josh got injured threw us off the tracks. Wimbush evidently hurt both hands on the big run. When they said Josh had concussion, it appeared that he grabbed his back. All I saw was he hurt his low back and it appears to have been proven bc he hasn’t been sliding through lines and exploding like he did earlier in season. I’m curious to see if they disclose the injury or if they just see if it can be discovered at combine.

The two huge stars that will be coming to the fore next season will be Stepherson and McIntosh. McIntosh May be the best running back in ND history.

Wow, that is saying a lot re McIntosh! Some pretty good backs in ND history. I agree that Stepherson is a star in the making.

 

As far as this game is concerned, I think the book is out on how to stop ND and BK is the only person who hasn’t read it yet....I expect Stanford to stack the box and dare BW to throw it. If we keep doing the slow developing running plays we will be in 3rd and long all night and that favors Stanford. We just haven’t played well the last 3 weeks and I don’t see any signs pointing to turning that around. Night game on the west coast and in prime time—that usually spells disaster for us.

 

Hope I’m wrong but I don’t see a win for our Irish tonight fellas.

I’m feeling optimistic that it’s a close game at least. Go Irish!
