How does Pitt go into halftime up 10-7 on Miami with a freshman QB.

Just crazy what happened in Miami. Granted this is a road-game in the cold on a thanksgiving early week for Miami but gosh man. Wimbush played so scared out there. This freshman QB for Pitt slinging it and doesn't give any shits.

Miami might end up winning but doesn't look like a blowout thus far.

Miami seems to wake up at halftime.

TD Pitt, 7-17 with 1:47 in the left in the 3rd. Miami trying to screw everything up!

1 quarter left.

Crossing my fingers, but not getting hopes up

These idiot miami “fans” are STILL trolling Fighting Irish fan pages, twitter, etc. classless

Houston at 6 and 4 has just been STUFFING that Navy option play after play....handling it so much better defensively then we did.....its a bit of a head scratcher ...bottom line

We have not played strong football for the last MONTH!!

aloha

This is not a surprise. Miami is not good and we completely **** the bed.

Kelly should not get a pass for this.

Miami will get blown out by Clemson, lose a bowl game and people wonder what the f was the big deal.

It's nice to see them play like lambs though. We should have shut them up early and that game was there for the taking. Terrible coaching, again.

I’m not convinced it was all on coaching. The players didn’t execute & sh1t their pants

I swear to God we get everyone's best GD game!!

TD PITT!

That's a wrap on Da U

Beautifully executed

No doubt about it. It was a combined effort.

But the coaches need to get them ready to play. Kelly's teams have come out flat for big road efforts flat way too many times for it to be a coincidence.

Aaaaadn Miami is done. Nice. They have no way back in.

I agree that this U team is not as good as advertised

Pitt Sh1tting

Break out the blue & gold TO chain

Miami is the 2012 ND with better athletes. Played like crap 10 of 12 games and won big against their really tough game at home. They will get smoked by Miami and the pawn shops won’t pay 5 cents for the plastic turnover chain.

I am curious on how far they will fall. My guess 7th. They lost to a really bad Pitt team. If they lose again to Clemson and IF ND wins tomorrow, NO WAY will they stay ahead of ND. Two loss slide at the end of the year does not favor teams.

Miami must have shot their load against ND last week, it doesn't even look like the same team today. Are they just overrated or is ND just unable to win must win games? Maybe a bit of both.

If you had told me UM would lose to a sub .500 Pitt team, I would have called you an idiot and yet here we are. Oh well, I'm glad that UM lost anyway, even if it was to fricking Pitt but I don't care about potential SOS/playoff standing ramifications at this point. A lot of dominoes would have to fall into place for ND to sneak in and I don't think this ND team is good enough to go very far.

We smashed OU on the road in the biggest game of the year.

Obviously that game was more about an unmotivated and non focused Miami than it was Pitt. Every team has a game or 2 each season where they play way over their abilities or way under their abilities. Miami is somewhere in between today and the team that beat ND.I think most of us knew Miami was going to be a hornets nest for ND and Kelly did not have them ready. I would like to see the Irish get another shot at the Canes although I don't see it happening.

I wouldn’t say we smashed Oklahoma. It was tied 10-10 at half. It was the moment we stepped off the bus in Miami.
