Pretty mediocre would be a a kind way to put it. Lets not forget that they also laid an egg against Georgia too.

Also if anybody drafts Mike McGlinchey in the first round then their GM should be fired. He will not be a starter in the NFL.

That’s the messed up thing. He will still be a first rounder and will probably play well enough to make us wonder why he wasnt dominant every snap.

Mods delete this thread! This isn’t positive.

There is no safe space in following college football....

Nothing is positive after this...

He is way too slow to succeed in the NFL.

I understand McGlinchy found his pants after that play tonight. That's a positive, no,

Speed trumped power tonight. McGlinchey's draft stock should drop pretty hard after this one. 2 chances to play legit defenses and he fell flat on his face both times.

I saw some very bad technique for him today.. Lunging to the outside, then the DE/LB dipped inside. This is rule #1 on pass pro.. Never lunge and keep inside foot strong to protect inside. Always make pass rusher go to outside. I don't think he is a LT in NFL.. I think even as a RT he has talent for 1st rd

I love McGlinchey, but there is no doubt he struggles with speed rushers. I feel his home is at right tackle at the next level.

This should had been seen. I’ve yet to see a BK line come off the line and truly dominate. It’s always been smoke and mirrors. The players are fine, the coaching is not. Theres plenty of current ND o-linemen in the NFL doing good from BK’s teams. They just get bullied at ND.

The NFL is going to have Georgia and Miami caliber defensive ends, not Boston College and Michigan State

The Zach Martin, Ronnie Stanley, and Chris Watt’s of the world aren’t the problem. It’s when they are at ND they can’t block as well.

The OL play has dropped off significantly since Warriner left. At least this year they are dominating inferior opponents. We still can't pick on kids our own size yet, but maybe in the next 5 or so we'll get better.

I haven't watched and don't plan on going back to watch the game, but Miami loaded up and sold out to stop a lot of our runs.. it's just a shame we couldn't have made them pay with deep shots as there were a lot of 1-1 in the backend.

We need a QB that will make teams pay for doing that to us.

All 3 of those guys played well at ND. None of them came close to being embarrassed as regularly and badly as Big Mike. He talks a big game but can’t back up jack ****.

Yeah that 2013 line set a record for least sacks allowed I think, they were also very good in 11/12/15.

I actually think the announcers said Martin had not given up one sack all of 2013, he dominated everyone.

Mikes best year was 2015 at right tackle, that's where he should be. Now I don't know tons about o linemen but for someone who does, would the guys handedness make a difference? I assume it might be easier for a right handed guy to play right and left to play left tackle am I right?

Most speed guys come off the right side song he LT has to handle them. Our LT has had his jock strap handed to him by teams this year with good edge rushers.

It doesn’t look like we have a LT in the roster for next year either. Not good.

You guys tend to forget. We could pass block but we could never run on dominant teams. Oklahoma the exception.

For what's it worth, I am right handed and was much better playing left OT than right.
