I believe that if we win out (which I certainly don't assume) that we'll be fine. Things will sort themselves out. However;
1)SEC Champ is in. Georgia and Alabama could each lose prior to the Championship, and the winner would still be a lock.
2)If Wisconsin wins out, they are a lock. I know their schedule sucks, and the Big 10 Champ game would be the best on their resume, but an unbeaten Big 10 Champ will be in.
3)Defending champ, and ACC/ESPN Champ Clemson is in if they win out. I know they'd have to jump us, but they would.
4)Which would leave a pool of us, SEC loser, Big 12 champ (one loss OU or TCU), Pac12 champ (one loss UW).
My thought is that the SEC Championship would be a de facto first round game, and that the Big 12 and Pac12 champs won't play anyone good enough to warrant jumping us. I am less than confident that the committee would share my opinion.
That said, I think it will sort itself out, and that we'll be in if we take care of business. Thoughts?
