I watched the Miami/VT game tonight. Their defense looks more physical than anyone we've seen this year. They seem to like to blitz and gets a ton of penetration. I haven't seen any other games they played but their D looks fast, big and tough. MAKE ME FEEL BETTER!

They looked good tonight, but if you look at the whole season they aren’t impressive. Also they rank 57th in yards per rush allowed so we should be able to control the game.

VT is overrated so often who knows

Miami will be tough no doubt

VT has a great coach. He's got that program going up and up. They were 10 and 4 last year and they're 7-2 this year with a good chance to be 10-2 by regular season's end.

We also play them next year in what could be a real big game, too.

They ain’t UGA. And Wimbush learned how to throw. It’s gonna be a bloodbath and that’s just how our dudes want it.

Glad they won...I want revenge for '89 and a memory wipe of 3rd and 43 for all-time!!!

Go Irish!

4-8 ND beat 9-4 Miami.

I have a hard time believing that 8-1 ND is going to struggle with 8-0 Miami.

Could they lose? Sure. But Miami's defense isn't any better than Wake Forest, Georgia or Michigan St's.

Miami kept VT off balance, that's for sure. VT looked like it barely belongs in the top twenty and Miami looked like a top ten team. They really stifled VT's run game but VT stuck with it, almost stubbornly.

Good team, no doubt. But most just watched last week. Look at the wins they eked out weeks before against garbage teams.

No way Miami is better than Georgia...

My thoughts exactly. Can we lose? Of course, but if we play to our potential then this shouldn't be close.

Miami played their best game last night. I expected a tight game on the road, fortunately, Wimbush and Adams are ok.

Watching Miami play last night, there are reasons to think this could be a very close game. Clearly, Miami played their best game and looked good on both sides of the ball. Hard to tell how good Va Tech is, but Miami looked impressive. Need to dominate the lines and have a more disciplined defensive performance to beat them on the road next week. Go Irish!
