Whatever happened to this thread? I remember there was a thread like this back I think from 2009 - 2012ish. With more former Domers in the NFL than I've ever seen (and making an impact), I figured I would bring this back up

Might have been due to a lack of activity. I believe I started it and used to keep it updated but after awhile life intervened and I didn't have the time.

 

I think B&G has something similar.

Yeah, he really hurt his TD to catch ratio Sunday. After the first catch in the game, he was at 6 TDs in 9 catches! Then he only got 1 TD in the next 4? Shame!

Fuller's production is going to fall off with Deshaun Watson done for the year. Sigh.

I’ve been so impressed with the way ND is using its new Jumbotron. Pertinent example here: Every game in the second half, they update the crowd on Irish players in the League. It’s a great way to keep us connected and a handy recruiting tool.

Worst QBR in the NFL among eligible QBs. It's not all on him, but he has truly been terrible - most interceptions thrown and I believe the lowest completion percentage in the league.

 

I hope Cleveland surrounds him with better talent and gives him another year, but I think this is Jimmy Clausen all over again. Carolina got Cam Newton #1 overall and that was it for Jimmy's NFL career. The Browns could very well take Rosen or Darnold #1 overall and cast Kizer aside.

If I were Kizer, after the benching I took for turning the ball over, I'd put the ball from every dead play in the stands until the coaching staff would figure out their *** from a hole in the wall. That organization is terrible from the top down.

Jaylon has been rounding into shape in Dallas though. It's taken him some time to get used to the speed of the game and was probably thrown into the starting lineup quicker then they wanted but injuries forced their hand.

I get Cleveland is a mess and qbs die there but defending Kizer just sounds dumb. He was the leader of a 4 win college team and now a winless NFL team.

 

I can't remember a game he played at ND when he didn't turn the ball over. It's the same in the pros, he's good for one pick at least and usually another when it's the worst possible time.

 

Kizer would have gone after Webb if Cleveland wasn't drafting.

Isn't he their leading tackler or has the highest ratio of TFL to tackles or something?

I thought he was playing really well.
