Everyone will have a boner for the Buckeyes though. But Big Ten as an entire conference die nothing impressive out of conference.

Oh, ok. That could be correct then if we are talking about the first rankings poll. I thought he was making his prediction for the actual end of season playoff. That is what I put down as my prediction.

I think this is exactly right. (1) OSU lost to #10 at home, but beat #2. (2) ND lost to #3 at home but highest ranked win is #9. (3) CFP Committee loves OSU.

The committee is not going to reward Wisconsin for that schedule. Just go back to last year when they put A&M at 4 over Washington in the intitial rankings because of strength of schedule.

I’m surprised a lot of us are predicting that OU and Clemson will be ranked higher than PSU. I can see the committee keeping PSU in the mix.

I'd be shocked beyond belief if ND was in the top 4 from the get go.

Still plenty of haters out there who will not vote on the total body of work so far.

ND will have to earn it by winning out, which I am sure they can!

I think by virtue of having the best win of the playoff teams (Notre Dame) as well as a great sec resume, Georgia should be #1. But bama is *probably* better.

It’d be damned hard for the committee to put us in over Wisconsin, Miami and Clemson at this point. But I think we’re better than all of those teams.

I just don’t see how you put them ahead of other 1 loss teams when they have one notable win against Michigan. I think they proved that they are one of the best teams in the country, but their resume doesn’t hold up. That’s the risk you take when you schedule nobody OOC.

You gotta think the big 12 and pac 12 are on the outside looking in. The best team in each conference OU and Washington have not looked good, I believe ND would roll both of them.

 

We want Clemson to lose, the big ten and sec are locks.

Lie is a strong and unnecessary word. While we have good wins, our schedule is still average when you factor in Temple, Miami OH, etc.
