Nice congrats! Keep the ball rolling!

How do we feel about this? I don’t follow recruiting until late cycle so I not in the loop about this young man, but his offer list sucks. I know that means little, but does anyone have some inside knowledge about this kid to share?

PS His offer list is better than mine

He, supposedly runs a 4.4 40 so that’s a start. Though, I don’t think he ventured out to many camps and probably why he’s not rated higher?

I share the same question, but given the proximity, I would imagine that the coaches have him well scouted and know what they are getting.

That's the first domino to fall from Saturday's massacre.Who's next?

Local kid who I hear has come on strong his senior season. Seems like Elko is pushing for a lot of safeties and there seems to be a particular style he is looking for. If Elko believes that this kid fits then I'm all for him. This is a position that I think he is trying to completely overhaul. They also offered crim today who I believe is even lower rated the moala. In Elko I trust

That's good speed, and he also has good size at 6'1 200 pounds. I look at the offer list, which isn't bad but the tape tells a lot too. Seems to have a nose for the ball, 7 picks in one season is pretty good.

I trust the staff as they seem to find good players whether they're 3 or 4 stars. Not every kid can have an offer from Ohio State or Bama to legitimize them.

4.46 is fast and at 200 plus, he might be a good rover someday. Another Tranquill?

He seemed to be a high priority for Elko. Looked great at Irish Invasion. May not have been to a lot of other camps, which may have something to so with his ranking / offer list.

I'd also like to add, the south and west coast doesn't have ALL the talent. Penn-Harris-Madison School is one of the prominent football schools in the state of Indiana, going down state almost every year. At least the one's that I can remember, almost every top rated player from Indiana that went to a Power 5 college team has had success. I could be wrong or missed a few but these "corn fed" hosses produce! I am surprised we don't get more linemen from the midwest.

Staff loves him. He's been a definite take for awhile now. His tape is solid and he has some versatility with his size and speed.

This weekend set up ND well for many guys.

I thought he had an Iowa and a Nebraska offer. Those are good if not elite offers.

good news is good

One thing Moala seems to have a knack for is making the play when needed. A punt return, INT or tackle. He has the intangibles that allow him to make those plays regularly. Solid size and speed always helps too.

after beating usc by 35 points the best ND can do is land a 2-star safety.

ala crawford?

Staff loved him at camp and offered. Good enough for me.

We also have Gilman with 3 years remaining.

Yes and no. Crawford is a 5* if he's 2-3 inches taller. So explosive and great football IQ. Moala isn't on that level but definitely comes up with plays when needed and around the football.
