Maybe when we took our undefeated record into Oklahoma in 2012.....the Teo pick--The Wood run---Oklahoma so hard to beat there...

But THIS GAME----WOW

Overwhelming a depleted but still highly ranked USC team.

The defense asserting itself early & OFTEN

Josh Adams looking like a Heisman candidate

And Wimbush ---getting BETTER & BETTER, turning into a real DUAL threat....

Game over by the end of the THIRD Q

Only team that looked as good as the IRISH TODAY WAS ALABAMA

We clearly got the attention of the football world , now we have to avoid the letdown against a very good NC STATE team

But for now.....BEST PERFORMANCE IN THE KELLY ERA!

aloha

Irish eyes can smile.

The team is going in the right direction.

The film study showed me where they could attack, so glad they did, for once, usually my thoughts vary greatly from the staff not this time.

Go Irish! Another Big opportunity next week.

And we really didn't make it look too hard. Seems like no one got too hurt or even too dinged up! Good signs!

I was at the game and I can’t remember being as satisfied after attending a game since FSU in 93.

Just destroyed them. Love it!

BTW- stadium experience was awesome. Jumbotron is great although it is loud.

No more troughs either. Nice urinals with dividers. No more crossing streams with the drunk idiot next to you.

My wife commented at the start that it looked like a great game to attend with the weather and all, she doesn't like the cold. That's a game you'll never forget, glad you got to see it in person.

I said I was waiting for us to come thru against a highly ranked team before I truly believed this team was legit.

Well, they went out and earned it tonight with a total domination of the Trojans.

Great win and now we can control our destiny to the CFP if we run the table. We have to come out with the same fire and intensity next week and take care of biz against NCST. No letdown!!!!

Great win and incredibly happy with the win! I truly hate sc so I am celebrating tonight!!

Go Irish!!!

I think we're going to one up this performance at some point this season. The only game im not sure about is Stanford. Late game and a Long trip after a tough stretch of games, we were banged up in that 2015 game.

We can lose to nc state and other but let's be realistic, we have such better athletes than the remaining teams. If we lose another game it'll be an upset.

However in the moment, this is the best performance I have seen from an ND team.

Since becoming a Notre Dame fan 12 years ago, that was the best games I have ever seen the Irish play against USC! Wow! Go Irish!!

I was going to say, even from the television, it sounded like the stadium was rocking and it's very obvious.

.....hey!

Hey!

Oh...wait......i’ve never drank at a ND homegame. That’s ceazy, now that ivthink about it. My wife & i barhop every sport event we attend. I guess ww just never considered s bend...

Been a long time coming against those turds... Can't remember the last time I was this satisfied.....

Yes, that was an awesome performance all around!

So much for their golden boy as the first pick....he was running for his life last night...lol

That was a wake up call for that kid...

He lost some weapons from last year. Darnold is still a good QB in my book and who knows how he'd do in the NFL with a good team and coach.

Year in and year out SC consistently has more pro talent then any other opponent on our schedule. Even during their down years, on probation, with Kiffykins we had trouble with them and never blew them out. Wasn't this the second most points scored on them since '66? That's amazing, and isn't something that comes along very often at all. Take it in fellas that was awesome to behold, even better than 37-0 against scUM.

I thought we'd win, but we continue to look like a completely different football program in all aspects and we dominated them from beginning to end.

If our defense stays healthy and Wimbush is able to complete more of those passes down field that he's just missing just by a hair we're going to have a very good chance of running the table and getting into the playoffs.

So, since the Georgia game ended....ND has SLAUGHTERED all comers...including the then #11 team in the nation, with a stable full of 5-stars and speed to burn.\

DIE foul meme of "the college game of the past AND Notre Dame are no more"....I call BULLSHIT!@#!#!%

THAT game, if only for 3 hours, brought me back to 1993 - even though 2012 was an incredible ride, there was NOTHING in that season that made me think we were truly back to being a powerful team that could line up with anyone and go toe-to-toe for 60 minutes and win with presence and dominate a team to the point that you could see them lose their will to compete.

The only thing that would have been better? Bad Weather in the 4th, after the game was decided but before they could slink out of town.

Not quite as good as beating them 51-0 in 1966 on their home turf as Ara won the national championship, a year before my freshman year at ND, but it was as good as it gets in today's college football picture.

Ara, whose name was emblazoned on every helmet, was looking down at his boys with a big smile that lighted up heaven last night.
