Looks like kind of a rough week in terms of quality matchups. Really no marquee games this weekend, which is why College Gameday is going to be at James Madison. Some of ND's remaining opponents have tough games, including USC (Utah), Miami (Georgia Tech), Navy (Memphis), and Stanford (Oregon). Really need all those teams to keep winning, especially USC and Miami, who both have really tough games.

This years college schedule has been terrible. There has not been a good slate of games since Week 2 when ND played Georgia and all the other good games were on at the same time.

 

I guess that’s what happens when the major powers early in the year play one tough OOC game then play two Joe Blow St games where they are favored by 30+. Even the conference schedule thus far has not delivered many interesting games.

2 ND opponents we need to win who I think will be in tough games are Navy and Miami. Memphis can hang half a hundred on them quick and GT gives everyone issues.

Syracuse just went up 24-17 on Clemson at home, crazy things happening on Fridays.

 

I don't believe Clemson has had a bye, also their starting QB is out and not returning. Their team looks banged up, only reason I think this game is close.

 

I think teams need 2 bye weeks during the year, playing a tough schedule like them this long takes it's toll. ND needs to strategically plan their bye weeks, I like the bye week placement this year but we're gonna need one after Navy if we keep scheduling them.

If we run out we're in unless USC and Miami completely fall down which I think is unlikely. Clemson losing this game is really big for ND's chances. Enormous game v. USC.

Sportscenter was just discussing how beat up USC is tonight v. Utah. We really need them need to come through tonight. Game in LA which should help. In a perfect world, USC would throttle them and move up as high as possible prior to next Saturday.

Super classy move by Dabo Sweeney last night after his Tigers lost to Syracuse. He went to the Syracuse locker-room to congratulate them and even had his picture taken with some of their players, hard to dislike him as opposed to others who I can't stand, starting with Jimbo Fisher of FSU.

The ‘best remaining team on our schedule’ is really struggling with pitt today.

35-21 now. I can't believe there are people who think he can be an NFL qb, saying he's a poor mans rg3 is being generous. Jacksons only chance is going the route of Pryor.

BC beats Louisville and Michigan going to overtime with Indiana. I'm surprised at how weak the Michigan offense has been.

N.C. State beat Pitt 35-17.
