Georgia looked very good against Mississippi State !

Clemson struggled with Boston College!

Three convincing wins!

The defense is flying around making plays and causing turnovers !

Anyone hear Tebow Saturday morning ? When asked if Georgia was the real deal. He said we will see they haven't been tested yet. Hesitating he said Notre Dame is who we thought they were. And who is that now Tim? What a jag off! I don't normally watch Espn. This is just another example to remind me not to.

I'm not buying in yet. UGA is still the best team we played obviously. Their win against Miss State is good for them, but Miss State isn't that good. State will probably have a losing conference record but make a bowl due to easy OOC games as usual. Rankings mean squat, and there will always be SEC bias in them, States big win was against a suspect LSU.

We have stiffer competition coming up with some really strong offenses and defenses, so we'll see. I'm not putting down this team either, the HC yes but not the boys. I haven't seen quit in their eyes, they are playing hard. One game at a time...

Thing is beside Bama, everyone looks beatable this season.

That's the thing. ND isn't elite, but they are pretty good. That Georgia D is really good.they need some work on O, but I haven't seen 10 better teams than Georgia yet.

We used to beg for ND to beat the teams they should, now they win games by 33, 29 and 20 and they don't get credit. USC is obviously the big test, but to me, they've done about as much as you could ask to this point. Amazing what a difference two coaches (Elko and Balis) can do to a team.

I expected 8 wins, I think they're better then I expected for sure probably more likely to win 9 then 7 but I'm not buying into this being a double digit win team just yet. Definitely liked what I saw last night though, so far all of the off season moves are paying off

This x10000. Nice to see our more talented players being put in position to win; quite the departure from BVG.

Yeah at this point everyone but Bama looks beatable. I agree on Georgia, to me that looks like a top 5 team that is going to challenge Bama in the conference title.

The 2015 had more top end talent but this team kills it when it comes to depth and I think we're not that far off the top end talent. Difference is this coaching staff is light years better and probably takes that 15 team to the playoffs.

I won't say this is a playoff team but based off my eye test we are better than every team we play including USC who doesn't impress me. I see this team winning 10 games which means we lose one we shouldn't.

Agree, and the recruiting so far in 18 is seemingly upgrading at critical positions as well. So far they've done what they should do in blasting 3 teams they were clearly superior to but that is not something we've seen in the past. Major progress has been made this year and it's such a young team that you know it will only improve as the Year goes on

If you want any indication of how fcked up last year was, they're likely going to match last year's win total before October.

They definitely look much better. I can sense a different attitude and an air of confidence with the team.

However, I have been burned way to many times over the last 5 years to go all in on this team at this point.

If we take care of business the next two games and then knock off USC I will believe. I just need to see us beat a really good team to believe. I'm just not convinced that the teams we have beat so far are very good. Now, I give us credit for winning these games soundly which gives me hope because we haven't done that in years past.

But, for me, I need to see a win over a really good team. However, I will say I am pleasantly surprised with how they have looked and bounced back after GA. That didn't happen in the past. So I am hopeful but still guarded.

This is exactly how I feel...msu was not good last year...and very well may suck balls again this year...boston college...sucks...temple..sucks...and georgia truly dummied down their offense as much as they could so the frosh didn't lose the game.

Seeing some promise, but I'll hold off judgement until they beat a good team...

We'll be in the Top 20 this week and I will be very srprised if we aren't 5-1 going into USC.

USC will score points because Sam Darnold is a great QB. We need the offensive line to be more consistent running the football-no zero or minus runs. If we can stay in 3rd and short situations, we have a chance to beat USC imo.

It would be great if they come into the game undefeated and we knock them off. It would shake the college football world and be great for the program, recruiting and the fans. Fun times to be hopeful after the dissapointing disaster of last year.

I'm stoked with the team so far. I don't put a ton of stock into the playoffs because the deck is stacked against ND as far as I'm concerned. I've ranted about that enough in the past.

Watching this team is cool because everybody seems to be on the same page. The D and O feed off each other and CBK seems to be a man of his word as far as letting the coaching staff do what they do, but his fingerprints are on it. It's working.

In hindsight the UGA loss isn't looking so bad. Yes a loss is never good, but UGA looks the real deal. Notre Dame keeps winning and UGA too, it'll be hard to be upset about that one.

Beat USC, kick the **** out of Navy, and win your bowl and it's a good season.

Georgia is the best team we'll play all year. They are the clear cut favorite for the East. I know that's not saying much but if you don't think they're better than Florida, Tennessee, Vandy(just got blanked), and South Carolina..?

I agree with the above poster. We've handled our 3 wins when other programs guys(on this forum) compare us to are laying eggs against lesser opponents.

Stan - SDSU

USC started real slow against that directional Michigan team...

I love Tim tebow the football player.

I have no respect for Tim tebow the man

I HATE Tim tebow the awkward broadcaster.

But besides USC, who doesn't suck according to your standards in our schedule this year?

There are no good teams.

Georgia beats Miss St. by 28? Sure, but Miss. St. isn't that good. Then how bad is LSU?

ND fans are the only fans in the world who try to convince themselves that their team isn't very good.

Unfortunately Norte Dame still is very much a one dimensional team. I know Wimbush had a decent stat line last night but he is not an accurate passer. Guys are still having to go up and get it, or dive for it, or come back to it, etc... he needs to get better at hitting receivers in stride and putting the ball in the right place. As such ND is very much a running team and you could see last night that was only fairly effective against a bad MSU team. Defense is great, game was great, but Wimbush has to work on his accuracy.

Disagree. He is a fine young man who wears his faith on his sleeve, Nothing wrong with that. And I have hears that he is a freat teammate. He's trying to make it in pro ball with the Mets and the reports on how he has meshed with teammates and is a positive force in the clubhouse are glowing.

I'll always be upset about the UGA loss. I'm sick of close losses to great teams being considered an accomplishment. Fck that. Now, it's not an embarrassing loss, but it's not a benchmark to measure the success of a team.

The worst part was the PINK suit he wore. Where do you even buy something like that?
