I see this going one of two ways. Either Dexter doesn't play again so Kelly can show us all how smart (stubborn) he is.

 

Or Dexter gets a big dose of carries to show what he has. Let's play over/under for Dex this week.

 

6.5 carries - I'll go over.

 

75 yards - I'll go over.

 

6.8 YPC - I'll go over, think he gets at least one big one.

 

1.5 missed pass blocks - I'll take the under.

 

2.5 traits demonstrated - I'll go over. Give me perseverance, mental toughness, attention to detail and physicality.

I will say this. BK has at least shown that certain guys are not up to par for playing time. Zaire, Golson, etc. BUT he has done a **** poor job at putting those guys into certain situations that will allow them to succeed. How hard was it to let Williams get a few carries or put Zaire in for some qb keepers.

 

Williams WILL get over 8 carries this game.

It's amazing to me that other schools like Georgia can get 3 backs on the field in a single game but BK looks for excuses to keep proven, talented players on the sideline. He's a freakin moron.

This is the most moronic thing I have ever heard BK say!! He controls who gets in the field! If was part of the game plan he should have gotten in. One of two things happened. Either BK is lying about him being part of the game plan now, or he was a part of the plan but BK was too stupid to put him in. Either way BK has to go!!!

This whole Dexter situation just reeks of some kind of undocumented internal punishment for something.

 

You punish RBs by taking away their carries. The fact that he didnt get one single carry means there has to be more to the story he's feeding us and the media...

I'm sure he's heard the criticism but hearing it and listening to it are two different things. He's a stubborn horse's *** who deflects blame almost every chance he gets.

Tony Jones has shown me little to nothing, the fact he got carries over Dex is mind numbing. I know everyone loves Adams (me included), but the limited carries I've seen from Dex shows me he might be a better runner than Adams even.

 

Adams needs to take that dumb brace off, I know you can't run at 100% with them on. His injury was like 4 years ago now I have no idea why he still uses it.

Adams was tired. He was hitting the holes too slowly. You're not going to run anything but two different plays anyway, so why not give him a shot to see if he can make something happen.

I always try to be rational about why things are done. And this Williams thing is one that doesn't make a ton of sense. As people have mentioned, maybe something happened with Williams and he's trying to save face for him. But it can't be just for not being a good pass blocker. Procise sucked at it and he played a lot. Jones gets in and every one knows he just there for catching passes. So it can't be for him just not being able to pass block.
