Hasn't looked bad today other than a pick and holding onto the ball too long which plagued him at ND.

His receiving corps is awful though, Britt and Coleman are low end 2's at best. We've had better receiving units at ND in multiple years recently than the Browns have had.

Sacked seven times, ouch.

Not bad for his first NFL start as a rookie. I'll bet he misses the ND OL though, even though it was far from perfect.

Wish he was with a better team or had more time.

Hopefully things start to click for the Browns.

Might regret? Haha funny article, I was sitting there during the draft wondering what the hell they were thinking.

There's not a worse franchise in pro sports atm and it's not even close. Kizer has looked bad and all the things that hurt him here are hurting him there. However there are probably ten or more college teams with better receiving units than them.

Not good. Sounds like he definitely needs better pass protection and to get rid of the ball quickly. I have sympathy for any true NFL rookie to start so soon and not watch at all. All the best for Kizer going forward.

Leads the league in interceptions. Not good.

11 sacks. I think it would be quite a bit more if he wasn't good on his feet. As usual the curse of Cleveland. Careers go there to die.

Too many red zone pics. No playmakers on that team.

Well ... it only took 5 weeks. Benched for Kevin Hogan during the game. Lowest passer rating of all starting QBs and another red zone interception today. It's a shame. Hope he can learn and improve and get another shot. Same mistakes we saw at ND. Hesitates, stares down receivers, no anticipation and then when he scrambles tends to make bad decisions.

The legend of BK and his knack for developing QBs gallops toward another sunset....

Over and above Kizer's struggles, has there ever been a football organization on any level quite as hapless as the Cleveland Browns?

Lol everything is bk's fault. The kid was barely a 3 star who was about ready to give up football when nd turned him into a second round pick. No development there?

Yeah, it's pretty much the QB graveyard of the NFL. He wasn't ready for the starting job either, way too green.

You cannot possibly be talking about Kizer. Highly coveted prospect ranked in the top 10 at his position....recruited by Bama among bout 50 more respectable football schools...that Kizer.

Kizer isn't BK's fault, the problem is he's playing for Cleveland. The bigger problem for him is Kevin Hogan has looked better and looked better in college as well IMO.

Kizer got drafted too high because he had size and a strong arm, really if Cleveland didn't take him he might be waiting till round 3-4.

He had a good year in 2015...Stanley, Prosise, Adams, Martin, Nelson, Mcglinchey, Fuller, Brown, etc... That was a good team who played a ridiculously easy schedule, Kizer was more a product of the pieces around him.

Hue just named Kizer the starter, he's officially an idiot.

Absolutely. He wasn't ready and shouldn't have played this year. Idiot franchise makes the coach an idiot. Such a bad ending written in the book of the Browns. Byner fumble curse still rings true. Anyone believe there is a good ending for Kizer? He needs to write "my career" on a piece of paper and put it in his safe for the next 4 years.
