We ever get a reason why he didn't get snaps on offense? He played on ST so he wasn't hurt. Just seemed criminal not to use him. I just don't see the reason Jones was out there so much, because he catches the ball well out of the backfield? That may be but he hasn't produced crap in his touches yet. Dexter has on very limited carries.

Adams was tiring and wasn't getting relieved hardly at all. I think Adams is a damn fine back too. But given the choice to throw a different style runner out there, andat the very least to give Adams a rest plus see what Dexter can do, the staff failed miserably. We've never had a feature back under Kelly and have had really good success using two backs with different skillsets.

My sources inside the program tell me that dexter trimmed his toenails too short after the pregame walk through. They said he should be ok, but that coach Kelly didn't want to risk it by playing him. Unsubstantiated at this point, but it's possible one of his pinky toes may have actually bled a little. Coach decided to play it safe.

Chip long/Del Alexander; what the **** happened to our receivers. Wimbush is going to take the blame, but we can send these two packing to where ever graham ends up at seasons end. How many ****ing useless rpos were we going to run in a row? I waited all game for us to throw a wrinkle into this bulkshit play and we just sat back and waited to lose.

BK simply said it was a coach's decision. It's stuff like this that makes me so tired of BK...

Coaches decision to not play a back that ran for over 100 yards last week....

That same back that, by far, has the quickest initial burst on your team to help negate a superior defensive front...

That same back that has great vision to quickly find, and explode through holes so your

Oline doesn't have to hold their blocks as long....

That same back that has the best lateral movement to make plays...

That same back that plays like he's on fire, with enormous passion and high energy..

Adams wasn't working...He was piddling around too much and looked so slow. Slow developing plays, trying to get outside, and NO in game adjustments on offense, against a great defense is a joke. This, out of all the games they play this year, was a defense where Dex SHOULD have been the man getting all the carries...yet he doesn't step on the field..because of coaches decision...I've slept on it, and it only got worse...I really can't stand BK. He finds ways to lose games and this "coach's decsion" was yet another contributing factor of why that happens.

Couldn't agree more.

It seems like BK just isn't good at adapting to what he sees on the field. Everyone saw how good Dex looked last week and he can't get one carry!?! Georgia even found time for their third back and they have arguably the two best backs in the nation in front of him. I don't want to overreact to a loss because almost everyone thought it would be a close game and it could have went either way, but things like this are why BK doesn't have many fans anymore.

Not playing your best players. Something that has always plagued Brian Kelly.

A-freaking-men. Thought he changed that according to one recent article about his new focus, basically saying upperclassmen and favorites are out, guys who worked hardest play first. Well how about guys that have shown to produce in crunch time cause that's Dexter.

If that's what he said then he is a f'ing moron coach (duh of course). Put him in for ST but not to run. Genuis...

This offense played as slow and scared as it did against bama. Nothing has changed and nothing will change with bk

Brian Kelly's DNA will always be pass oriented. Adams is the more experienced pass blocker in an offensive scheme that requires running backs to identify and block unblocked rushers. I am not advocating or excusing Kelly, just explaining why I think Williams didn't get into the game.

I tried to convince myself of the same thing, but what I'm really doing is reacting the the 9th loss in the past 14 games... and looking forward, trying to see where the positive light is.

I really thought, just maybe, the guy had some kind of epiphany, and with the new hires, we'd see a new-look team, and while I was mildly impressed after the first game, it was still just Temple.

But watching the game last night, and the mind-numbing things from play calling, to the o-line getting blown by, to guys not getting snaps who should be, showed me how many things really haven't changed at all.

(Side note, obvious props to Elko and his D!)

Yeah the only thing that's changed is the defense. Kelly is too damn stubborn and will never learn.

For those of you who didnt see this. BK getting pi$$ed at the postgame presser.

God forbid anyone ask him about culpability following yet another inexplicable loss...

Actually pretty comical...you could hear the girl starting to get nervous, but trying to stick to her guns...And ya, one point is one possession BK. The guy is a turd..

Coaches decision, bloody infuriating. So fed up with these arrogant coaches who are not doing their job, that is to put this team in the best possible position to win. Do they really think they are being clever by not using Williams or Stepherson, these are the kind of speed guys you need against a team with the Dawgs defense.

Everyone knows ND plays a top schedule every year. And everyone knows that they'll be games where we won't win them all. He's used up all his. So, it's a very fair question. You lost AGAIN to another opponent by a close score...AGAIN. What the hell are you going to do about it?

I think the point BK was trying to make is that he had several possessions to erase the deficit. Not just one. Lol. So it was a 1 point loss. Not a 1 possession loss. Good point, Brian.
