Posted September 5, 20177 yr Well done last week fells, a few really close guesses. Much different animal this week with the Bulldogs coming to town. I'm taking the Irish, 27-24.
September 5, 20177 yr Hate to be the party pooper but I thought our defense looked weak. Better than last season, hell yea, but our run defense was bad and our corners got burned a lot, a good QB would have made us pay Also, BW better step it up and make better passes, he showed what a great athlete he is and a cannon arm but his short passes were horrible I know, first start
September 5, 20177 yr I didn't think this would be 2 or three of the Irish losses this year. Irish 31 Dawgs 28
September 5, 20177 yr You can always count on ND to score 28 or more so I am going with: ND 35 Bulldogs 24
September 5, 20177 yr Going with my heart instead of my head..... ND 30 Uga 28 I did have this as one of our losses in the preseason prediction thread, but my heart and ND pride just won't let me pick against us in this game. Go Irish!
September 5, 20177 yr ND 23 Georgia 20 I don't agree with the poster above, I thought our run defense looked very good - 37 carries, 85 yards, 2.3 average. That was helped by three sacks, but I think we held Temple to 5 yards rushing on 16 carries in the second half. Obviously, it'll be a completely different animal this week, but I think we stop them and force Fromm to beat us. I know he's a 5 star, but he's still a true freshman starting his first game in South Bend - that is definitely an advantage for us.
