Temple players are publically stating that they will come into ND's (new and improved) house and kick the Irish's @$$. They are predicting a blowout.

 

I hope BK calls attention to this.

 

Rockne, Holtz, Ara... they'd be telling their team to go out and bury the team that disrespected Notre Dame this way. I hope the Irish come out with fire and punish Temple.

 

Think about this... freaking TEMPLE is talking trash. Nobody is scared to play Notre Dame anymore! I hope ND wakes up and plays to their potential. It's high time ND puts some fear back into every team visiting South Bend.

Times have changed my friend! Been a fan for only 13 years now so I've seen many embarrassments, so for me this is not all that shocking.

 

You typically see stuff like this opening weekend as a way for players to pump up teammates.

 

This team doesn't need motivation from that, they have motivation from the 4-8 debacle last season.

 

We are light years more talented than them, I believe we will smoke these guys.

Why should they respect us? ND is largely a laughingstock to major football programs. We are tier 1 power in money and history; barely tier 2 still in regards to current performance.

I totally agree. I guess it's just another stark reminder of how far ND has fallen. I would certainly use this as fuel if I was a coach or player in that locker room. What a disgrace.

We were humiliated last year. The last time i felt that bad about losing was after the loss to bama. And just like after last season it was questionable if bk would return.

 

He returned. Both times.

 

 

Both times he opened the next season vs Temple.

this version of Temple is riding on the confidence earned by last years team and the year before last. If we can't beat a team that will run out 3 different QB's for auditions then all their statements will be valid. It really is a show me year for Kelly. Every team unless we start winning handily will have threads like this.

Big money coming in on ND to push that line up 5 points with no major injuries.
